a good cheap phone
This phone was introduced to replace the 5165 as a low end, entry level TDMA phone. if you don't like it good news. with AT&T and Cingular both going to GSM it won't be around for long anyway!
No problems so far
I have only had the phone for 7 months. I even work for a phone company as a call rep. I know there is a known problem with this phone, it powers off and won't come back on, but I have not had any problems with it. It isn't the best phone I have owned. But it has held up so far. Granted I am waiting for the day it does finally die on me. Hopefully by then I will be under a new contract and have a GSM phone. Would I recommend it for anyone, NO!!!!!!!!!!!
IF YOU ARE INSANE PLEASE PURCHASE
I can not even give this phone a half a point it is a terrible phone which in all actuality should just really be one of those diposilble phones that only a crazy person would be happy with or given to a small child to play with. Because it is only as good as the cheap melted done tires that Nokia used for the plastic casing.
Cheap Basic Phone
I had this phone for 3 months before it died on me. I kept it in a case and never dropped or abused it.
Pros: Small and Compact, Decent Speaker, Download-able Ring-tones.
Cons: Ugly Green Night Light, No Vibrating Ringer, So-So battery life, No wireless web. Died after 90 days and constantly dropped calls.
The only reason I bought this phone is because it was free with the service. This was by far the worst phone I ever owned. I tried to replace it under warranty, but all the stores in my area are out of stock of this mode. So I had to purchase a different model at retail. I cannot recommend this phone to anyone. This has to be the lowest quality Nokia I have ever seen. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy this phone, even if it is free, spend a few dollars more and get a 3560/3595 or a 6340.
