A56i- Thought it was Good
I really liked this phone. It was cute and compact, got great service. But I have not had it even a year now, and the screen is beginning to go blank and come up with 2 huge black lines on it that requires shutting the phone off to get them to go away... And then they just come back. According to Cingular this is a common complaint they have had with this phone. All I can say is, it was good while it lasted...
A Good Phone and A Bad Phone
I bought this phone at my local target after having Virgin Mobile. I felt that it was a over all good phone. But here is what I thought of it
Pros:
*It is nice that you can record a persons voice and then use that as a (no other phone I have had can do this)
* It is a nice small phone
Cons:
*Battery life on this phone is not very good make sure that you have your charger handy.
I talked on this phone for 1 1/2 straight and it was dead
*If you lose your hands free (the one provided with the phone) It is almost impossible to find another hands free. I had to go to Best Buy and buy and adapter. Cingular wanted 25.00 for the hands free.
*Finding a case for this phone was another impossible feat.
All in all it is an okay phone u get what you pay for
bad mofo
Have owned the Siemens A56i for about a year-- PROS- phone has never dropped a call. This phone was washed in the washing machine and dried out with a hair dryer and it still works!!
* phone was dropped in a bucket of paint, cleaned off AND STILL WORKS!!!
CONS- The phone doesn't have great battery life and is a little small.
*There are no ringtones or graphics that can be downloaded (or very very few).
