Increadible Phone that motorolla will not repair
Hello Folks
I love the A780, It's an amazing phone. I also have a Razor but it pales in comparison to the A780.
BUT be warned if your 500.00 DOLLAR A780 dies (like mine) motorolla will tell you that it does not sell in the USA and therefore your...F..well you know the word, also the third party Mobilbee.com where I bought the phone is also JUST as useless and will not replace it.
Motorolla told me to send it to the midest facilty, who then sent it to Texas- red state :( who send it back to me with a dear John letter.
Folks this is a 500 buck phone COME ON give me a break eh dudes, my ex is all over me on this one...

PROS: Quad band phone works everywhere. Fun toy to play with, lots of java apps. Pretty good forum started here for user support.
CONS: Battery life is short, but I think that's due to the meter not correctly displaying the charge (like my other motorola phone-mpx200). Phone won't charge with computer USB port when it shuts itself off. Motorola support site lousy.
Overall, I'm still giving this phone a chance, but it's a bit quirky and I miss a lot of the features that are on my other Motorola phone. Wish they'd build on existing successes instead of always going back to the drawing board.
