Good Phone Could Be Great
I bought this phone December 16th or so, so I've had it for a solid two months. It has great reception, great speakerphone, the ringtones, I believe are referred to polyphonic, where you hear the song, sounds phenomenal. Battery isn't too bad under normal usage, though an extended would never hurt. However, the one thing that keeps this phone from being phenomenal is the problem it has with freezing. Every day or every other day, I'll open it to send a text message, and it will freeze, reset on and off, and come back on. Total time is about two minutes. Now granted, it sounds like a small issue, but it does get annoying when it happens ever so often. I spoke to a co-worker of mine (I am employed by Best Buy), said that it is because there is minimal internal memory, and the phone is constantly scanning for changing is the transflash card slot. First thing that caught me on that is constantly. It doesn't happen all the time, it happens daily. Verizon hasn't a clue what it is. However, I can tell you that this is a good phone otherwise, but will only be a good phone until that problem is solved. And keep in mind, it could just be my unit, as Verizon wouldn't look at it due to an unresolved billing issue. However, I've had a lot of Motorolas. The Timeport P270, The V120, The T730, and they've all been phenomenal. SO this fun has diminished their name, sadly.
