I got this phone because my girlfriend has Verizon and is an hour away so we just added a line to her account so we could talk and text free. I based my choice on the write-ups on it. The problem I have is that it is horribly slow when typing text messages. If you need to type letters using the same key, you have to wait too long to be able to type the next letter. I mean REAL SLOW! Also, for some reason she has a Samsung and I don't know if it is her phone or this one but if she doesn't talk right into the hole on the phone there is dead silence and most of the time very broken up. That's a bummer too. Overall, I would not recommend this phone especially if you are gonna be sending alot of text messages.
Quite a surprise
I must say first off, I HATE this phone. I bought it a month ago from my local alltel store and i have had to get 6 replacement phones because they all do the same thing after about a week, they shut off on their own and won't turn back on no matter what you do! It is also different from conventional phones in the way the text imput is set up, the space button is different from my other phones and the words it guesses in T9 mode are completely weird and half the time i have to enter the word myself. i strongly recomend you look elsewhere for a reliable phone!

this was my first phone and a back up phone and it was nicer than the glyde and juke never had a problem
If the Snap was a person, I would Snap my fingers in its face!
This phone is horrible! Please I am telling anyone who is considering getting this phone.....STOP! Your gonna make the biggest mistake of your life. Ok here you go:

You Can take pictures (I know huh?)
Cons:
You can only hold 10 songs people sent you
You can only hold 10 pics people sent you
VERY very very very slow internet
Slow texting (Takes about 20 seconds to send)
Bad picture quality
Very ugly looking menu
NO video. (what? No!!!) thats right (Nooooo)
no mp3 player (no!!!! ahh! its like a horror movie)
OK people. I had this phone for 2 months and i had to break the contract. I had to buy another phone FULL PRICE. But it was worth it.I got the LG Scoop. NOw if any one has a question on the Snap or the Scoop text me at 479-353-5467. (BUt ill talk more about the Scoop. Read my FULL review abnout the Scoop. Al the Features and stuff. JUst search LG Scoop here in Phonescoop and go to recent. I put that review a little earlier today.) take care people. and dont get the snap!!!!! its a bad phone!!!!! bad picture!!! no video!!!!!! No mp3!!!!!! No nothin!!!!!
Well I can send pic messages
I have no idea what is is about samsung, but No one can hear me and I can't hear them! My phones sound quality SUCKS! I'm worried that all samsungs are that way. My best friend has a samsung and before I got mine I spent a quarter of the time asking her what did you say? now half my conversation is What was that? I spend allot of time pretending I hear what people say simply because I'm so tired of asking what was that? After I got my new phone my roommate noticed the sound quality was pathetic. So why the 1 point? I can send pic messages and it looks sleek for a dollar phone. I'm thinking of going back to my old Audiovox. Ugly as it was, it sent pic messages (I needed that fixed) sound quality actually is good. it's got every option the snap does and has better reception too. This new phone just looks nicer.
