HTC Vogue: Not so good with WM, but AWESOME with Android!
This has been a decent little device for the last several months (got it used from a buddy who upgraded to iPhone, lucky bast*rd). Was NOT very impressed with the standard WM 6.0 that it came with, but thankfully HTC and Bell Canada (my provider) have a free update to WM 6.1. That made a significant difference for me, longer battery life and more stability. Eventually I got jealous of folks that had Touch-Flo on their devices. Found a custom ROM @ xda-developers.com (NFSFan you ROCK!) and flashed to that. BIG DIFFERENCE!! This had been my standard OS on this beast for the last few months.
Now however, there is a new player in town... Google's Android OS. Now, before I get flamed, it's NOT feature complete on the Vogue, as Bluetooth doesn't work yet and there is no mic for apps. However, everything else works: Android Market for apps, all my Google Apps sync like a charm, the camera works great (no video yet, but it's on the way). Battery life leaves something to be desired but my battery is old and tired anyway :) All in all I have been VERY impressed with what Android can do on this little device. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Not the Best
If your new to the PDA/WinMo scene, this phone is a good place to start.The phone is really only suitable for urban areas, and the battery requires constant attention/charging.
I havent had the best run on mine, so far the PCB has been replaced twice due to faults.

Great phone but could use work
i recently got this phone, it does everything that i really need it to do but sometimes it can be difficult to do those things. before i got this phone a while back i had the moto q9c it was a good phone but the windows based just really bothered me on how much i had to go in and "kill" running programs. i figured i would give windows another chance since they have 6.1 now, and it didn't disapoint, so i will deffenitly get windows based now. some pros of the phone is...
i like that you have the option to choose whether to use stylus or finger, i also like that in Most cases you can use your finger but there are some applications that work best with stylus.
gets good reception.
3d cube is just plain awesome.
the new app that you can download to send pics.
nice speaker quality (good for listening to music)
internet is good.
the weather slider is cool to.

Pity my particular phone went kaput, waiting on a replacement as I write this.
As for the common complaints/improvements list for this phone, the update to Windows Mobile 6.1 fixes almost all of them. There's a link in the forums, with installation instructions to boot. It adds a large fullscreen keyboard, threaded text messaging, a contacts list with a finger friendly letter bar AND Opera Mobile (no, no, no not Opera Mini, the FULL web browser that allows touch dragging of pages, iPhone-esque) just to name a few. Add Rev A data, you've got a winner. Sprint also made a free update to allow picture messaging, so

that I got a lemon...
mine would freeze getting calls, getting sms'es, needed three full wipes of the handheld and countless power cycles in a period of two weeks just for basic use. I know this isn't typical, I have some friends who have the phone as well, but after all is said and done I can't wait to get it back.
Good phone
I'm reviewing this phone. I bought it for my wife, and I almost wish I had one (the lack of a keyboard is the ONLY thing that stops me).
Cons:
Adding phone numbers seems to be a pain in the butt.
Pros:
Over 100MB of user memory!
Can handle SDHC cards (i.e. 4GB and more).
Awesome camera and video.
Endless goodies
Good call clarity.
Texting and e-mail are easy, once ya get the hang of it.
Windows Mobile 6.1 is a pro, in and of it self (Blackberry and Palm couldn't even dream of making a phone like this).
I, myself, am waiting to give my Treo 700w up for the upcoming Touch Pro. If the lack of a keyboard doesn't bother you, like it does me, I'd highly recommend this phone!

I read a lot of the reviews and couldn't find a review by the average user. So here goes...
I've had this phone for about six months now and I love it! I've had other smart phones but I always end up having issues with it. However, this phone is small and stylish but at the same time it has lots of features and functions and doesn't sacrifice performance for looks. I really like the one hand operation with the Touch-Flo. The features that I mainly use are email, task, calendar, gps navigation, listening to music, watching videos/tv, and Microsoft Office. There isn't a keyboard, everything is touch screen. After a while you get use to using the stylus to type etc. I have Sprint and I always have good service. Calls are crystal clear. I would definitely recommend the Sprint HTC Touch over the iphone.
Con:
I have the opera browser (not a fan of internet explorer), however, it can be sluggish at times.
Close but no cigar
The HTC Touch is definitely a nice phone packed into a small sweet package. However, there are many design and operating flaws that render this phone almost completely useless.
I had the Sprint version for about a week and had to send it back because it just did not do the job.
Phone-
Missed calls are the norm with the touch. Even worse, it will not indicate that you have missed a call.
Phone calls were tinny and choppy. When on speaker, the phone must be face down in order to hear the phone call because the tiny speaker is on the back.
Screen / Battery-
The backlight cannot be completely turned off, thus draining the battery continuously, giving about ten hours of standby time.
Camera-
The camera is a shoddy 2 MP camera with no flash. There is an omnipresent yellow tinge to every picture taken. Also the slightest movement will completely blur the picture.
Also, the pictures always come out cloudy because of fingerprints due to the camera's odd placement.
Software-
The touch-flo system is great, only it leaves out many useful shortcuts that would have been helpful for everyday use. The touch-flo is populated with all the Sprint Store shortcuts and does not allow editing.
Also, the picture on the call Id is incredibly small, making it very difficult to see who is calling.
Features-
For some odd reason GPS and WIFI have been disabled in this phone. Could it be to force the user into subscribing to paid Sprint services instead.
Also, the Touch has only about 156 MB of internal memory making it completely necessary to use a micro SD card at all times.
Design-
The entire back cover of the phone needs to be removed every time to either take out the battery or the micro SD card. Furthermore, it is a real pain to get the card out as there is another separate cover on it.
Also, great care has to be taken not too press the sleep mode button by accident, thus deactivating the phone part.
All in all, the phone only looks and feels good, but does not function well at all.
Great phone for HTC
I loved this phone, I still have it even though I trying a RAZR 2 right now. I will switch back when Rev. A comes out. I switched from the Mogul to this and am happy

WM 6 is a lot better then 5
Smart XT9, predicts commonly used words
Very customizable, I had vibrate keypad, opera mobile, Guitar Hero 3, Tetris, Dashwire, and multiple video players.
Sprint TV
Con's
No Sprint Radio
Keypad is difficult at times, no texting while driving or drunk text (could be considered a pro)
Battery life, had to charge a lot more than the mogul
Funny bluetooth
System runs slow
Like I said, I love this phone and can't wait to see HTC's Pro and Raphael in action.
Almost There
I upgraded to this phone from a Motorola Q. I've had this phone for about a month which has given me enough time to play with it, add software and tweak it a bit. Understand, that my rating is based upon what I have added to the phone to make it more usable as out of the box it is a little limited. I have played around with Touch Commander, SPB Mobile Shell and have recently downloaded the Iphone Theme. SPB Mobile Shell is very good but the Iphone Theme, especially Icontact is great. I am using the Touch Diamond Keyboard most of the time but use the Touch Diamond Qwerty as well (downloaded from XDA Developers for free).
Pros:
1. Reception is good
2. Push Email using Activesync with a hosted Exchange Server
3. Touch Screen is pretty responsive
4. Diamond Keyboard with T9 and Qwerty Version take a little getting used to when coming from an actual keyboard
5. Iphone theme makes the touch screen much more interactive and finger-friendly
6. Bluetooth works great with car, computer and headset
7. The size is great
8. 3rd party software applications
9. Windows Mobile Professional v. Standard has much more functionality
10. Adobe Reader LE is great and can see my faxes from Efax on the phone
Cons:
1. Needed to tweak the registry to get vibration to work for email alerts
2. Lack of keyboard is sometimes annoying
3. Still need a stylus for some functions
4. No wifi
5. Battery life
6. Don't really like the white Verizon model and would have preferred the black rubberized version offered by Sprint
7. No synchronization for Notes without 3rd party software and still no synchronization for Distribution Lists (Come on Microsoft)
