I'm on my third epic. All three phones heats up too quick. Freeze, and I had to remove the back and battery. The found quality isn't good. I'm trying to go back to the Evo without having to pay full price for that phone. I should have kept the evo and I had a miner problem with it.
Blah
After reading all the positive reviews about this device, I was very surprised how bad this phone worked. This phone was so bad that I paid the early termination fee with Sprint and went back to Verizon.
Pros:
-Key Board
-Screen!!
Cons:
-Data was slow
-Battery life
-Call Quality
-Felt cheap
-Speaker quality
Disapointed
Cons:
I went to the sprint store to get my new EVO and it was the new release day for the Epic. After about an hour of playing around with both I decided on the Epic. After the first hour in my vehicle I realized this phone is very cumbersome because of the location of the charger port. Its in the top center. If you try to leave it plugged in and talk on it, the cord is pulling the phone away from you. When I tried to use the text feature you need to keep your hand at the bottom & the cord at the top pulls the phone out of your hand. Not user friendly at all. Also disappointed in the blue tooth, It would not stay connected, or wouldn't connect at all. I never had any of these problems with my Palm Pre.
Pros:
Love the size... The screen is awsome, but I found it a little hard to navigate. (That could be me) It works very fast even on 3g network.
I'm going back to Sprint tomorrow to swap it for the Evo. I will try to give an honest opinion of it next week.
