Nice Phone For What it is!
this phone was a great idea by Motorola but.... if you are going to bring a phone to the table that is going to wow your consumers then you should not only redesign the outside but the software as well, i found this phone to just be a more expensive version of of the Motorola V600. Don't get me wrong its a NICE phone, just not worth the money you pay for it, unless you have it to spare.
Pros:
Size, weight and strength of the phone is nice.
Screen quality is also good.
Speaker Phone is not fuzzy like before Lot louder and more crisp.
Cons:
Price
Old Software
Non Updated Camera (this camera is in almost all Motorola Phones that have one)
and i don't know if i am the only one out there. but i have had a problem with the buttons sticking sometimes while playing games.. (the 6 button) no way to really clean them out the buttons lay flat...
This phone was a great design and i am glad that Motorola has finally decided to put there foot back in the door. I hope to see more phone from Motorola set the new standards for Mobile Tech.
P.S. i have bought a Motorola E680 stay tuned for my Review on that phone.

V3 or V600?
Do you have a v600? Ok just imaging that a truck run over your v600 and now it looks really slim. The the v600 and the v3 are to my knolege the same.
The only negative that i see on my current V3 is the price if you have the money and you are a Motorola Fan then go for it. You will not regret it!!

decent
I've had this phone (black v3, cingular) for almost 2 months now and I'm on my third one. I've grown fond of it regardless of its faults, but they are slightly irritating.
Some things that are appealing to me would be:
-the text message inbox holds over 100 texts without the memory being too full.
-the speakerphone, as aforementioned is phenomenal
-the camera (both still and digital), in my opinion are very high quality for a cellular phone. i have emailed several pictures to my computer and they are of similar quality to that of a digital camera.
-it plays mp3 ringtones
-let's face it, its eye candy
The prime reason I've found myself bitter towards this phone that ultimately lead me to replace it 3 times, is the screen quality. I'm not sure I saw many others post about this so perhaps its unique to my location, but I have had a major build up of dust and residue under the screen. The first razr i had was so awful it looked like I had it on the beach and buried it. This disappoints me so much, and I have seen this in all three phones to some degree and now not only keep it in a case, but a plastic bag as well, just in case.

Almost!
I admit I place a lot of emphasis on looks when it comes to my cell phone. As long as it works like a phone, that is the only funcionality test I subject my cell phones too. However, the earpiece speaker on this phone is very frustrating. It is difficult, and that easily frustrates me.
I have since gone with the Verizon RAZR and the earpiece works much better. The phonebook software is also superior, as well as the network. I was tired of my friends who had Verizon cell phones getting reception in several areas I could not. Not biased, just honest. Hope this helps someone that is in the situation I was in a few days ago.
Pros--
--Size
--toggle keys you can customize
--Looks (love the black!)
--Bluetooth is awesome
Cons--
--Earpiece speaker--Frustrating when you have to continually say "what was that??" I have young ears as well!
--Phonebook software --You can only save one number to the SIM, for multiple numbers, have to use the phone

*Theme song comes on* ITS CRAP
Wow a phone that sucks more than Paris Hil- ... never mind. My uncle had one of these, of course, it was awesome, for the first 2 mins and then he dropped it, and the gates of hell open, releasing the evil ending contract fees. Yes, this phone, is not a phone, it is a money sucker. Most of the people I know who bought this, only bought it for the looks, and did not look at the specs. Of course its not better than my Kyocera KX2/Koi. I know this because I had 4 bars, while my aunt had only 1 bar, and kept getting dropped. Even in my grand fathers double brick house, I still get a signal. I do think this phone, if for the suckers, who only look for good looks in phones, and have bunch of money, way to go morons!

motorola razr v3 black
Phone is very nice just got it yesterday, but already the trouble lies with simple functions which it lacks. Having to go through you hole phone book to delete the ones of the sim card it is not nice with the nokia you just delete the whole sim card or phone but you have the option and not have to go through like 250 names one by one.

T-Mobile Razor V3 9/10/05 8:01 AM
Pros:
--Thin
--Loud Ringer
--Menu Design
--Pre-Installed wallpapers
--Great keypad
--Speakerphone
--USB Port
--Great coverage
Cons:
--Pre Installed ringers
--Volume of Speaker at ear
--Wide
Overall this phone is the best phone I have ever had. If you have cingular wireless I have heard that this phone isn't the way to go, but I have T-Mobile and it is great!
