Great Phone for the PhoNeMoNsT3R

Apr 12, 2008 by ._PhoNeMoNsT3R_.

This phone is superb, I'm 11 and this is my first phone. I love slider phones and all my other friends have like RAZRs and stuff like that. This phone has a very bright screen and you can see it very easily, the music quality is nice, it has Speakerphone, 1.3 megapixel camera. Its also very good with texting, notifactaions on they main menu, and has a nice light up keyboard. The only problems are the center button. DONT PRESS IT WHILE IN MAIN MENU. It causes the phone to acsess the internet and I have to pay for internet on AT&T. Another problem is that the button on the right side will also drive you nuts because you press it during a call or text message, it's a bigger problem with calling though. So this is a great phone and you should pick it up from AT&T.

Not Happy

Mar 26, 2008 by AACutee

I had to have the phone replaced twice due to poor call quality, and all three phones had the same poor reception quality. It wasn't the area I was in because I slipped the SIM card in my old RAZR and people could hear me just fine!

Pros: Small & loaded with good features you'd expect from Samsung

Cons: Very bad reception quality, the camera is fuzzy and poor quality but easy to use.

Excellent Phone

Samsung A736 (A737 in the States) is an excellent handset flooded with features. As the main duty of a cell phone, the reception is excellent, a rare phone that works in the malls and undergrounds, and the sound quality is just perfect. The look is very beautiful and very easy to navigate between modes and menus. It is said that the phone gets extremely hot after seconds of use, well, it gets a bit warm but you can hardly feel it. Also, poor quality of the camera is sometimes seen in the lists of users complaints, it's 1.3 MP, more than enough for a cell phone, professional quality photos should be shot with brand cameras and not cell phones! However, it works quite well in the daylight.
Other pros: High speed Internet (in the cell phone range) really impressing for the 3rd generation of cell phones, easy check of e-mails on the go at the finger tip, excellent MP3 player, slim body only 16mm thick, very light weight of around 95g you forget it in your pocket, and much more.
Cons: The not-so-nice headset that comes with the phone... this is really my only complaint.

It's Okay

kinda like the m520 that sprint has. this is another wonderful slider phone. video share with this phone is easy and wonderful. depending if you are in the 3g area of where you live you may drop a call. i work at a local radio shack and mess around with phones everyday and if i was to get at&t i would go for the sync this isnt a bad hand set but depending on what you are doing for example texting kills a full charged battery very fasts.

Great!!

This phone is a great upper class 3G device or as some may say "Cell Phone". As evry1 may know AT&T (Superior Network), Offers this device.

Pros:
AT&T Music Device
Cellular Video(Fullscreen not like the M520)
Very Well reception(Good For 3G, as it's a 3G phone)
Supports up to (4GB Micro Sd Card)
Slim'n Unique
Good Phone to make ur friends jealous of
1.3MP Camera
As u see an Slider Phone
Battery Life up to 4.5 hours if not using media.
Stero Bluetooth
AT&T Video Share

Cons:
Keypad is ok but not that great
USB Cable sold Sepretley
Speaker phone is neutral
Red color is sluttish
The middle key should
not be 4 internet
Predictive text is bad
try T9 text predictor
Font is a ok but
not big.

My recent hearings about this phone is a overheating problem.

Since i am a phone tester from the FDI of phone investigation here are the results the phone will overheat if it is exposed to too much sunlight which is about 120; degrees F. In my standards you should never let a phone get to hot,and you should always take care of your phone which is a practice of safety and responcibility which few people have.

This phone is a turning point for AT&T i believe AT&T is the best and it's just gettin' better but overall this is a nice fun phone for anyone to have or poses.

Thank you for reading soo much if u want to buy this phone we such as AT&T has this phone for 49.99 don't forget prices are subject to change so act now!!! bye and thnks.

Samsung A737

For the price you pay it's not a bad MP3 phone and it will handle most falls that come with usual wear, I am in Asheboro with AT&T, and I sell a bunch of these phones. For my personal oppinion though I have to say that it is not my favorite. Having used it for a while, I can honestly say that the reception as with most Samsungs is sub-par. I know they are coming with a fix for it but not fast enough.

Pros: Small, sleek, and it looks very nice with your choice of colors. 3G is a plus for people who live in a 3G area, really fast speeds for medianet/internet. Decently loud speaker, and for the most part not a bad little phone.

Cons: Signal/reception not the best; small front display and the keys are too small for most people. Feels kinda cheap when you compare to phones like the LG Shine or even the Motorola V9.

Would I recommend? Yes to people in a good reception area, no to everyone else, because no matter how good the phone looks it is whether you can use it or not that counts.

P.S. For those of you who are not in a 3G area you can change the data packet and save on battery power, just call the customer service and they will walk you through it. It will add more hours to your talk/standby time.

Great phone, but not so great for music

Dec 27, 2007 by ycaliburn

Pros:
MP3 Player
1.3 MP camera
Quad-band
Accepts 2GB Mini SanDisk memory card
Bright Screen
Fun slider design

Cons:
Only 2 numbers per address book entry
Only black/orange interface (menus, etc)
Music must be edited for ring tones
No headphone adapter

I really like this phone, but I may end up returning it because of the headphone problem. Unfortunately there is no adapter allowing either a 2.5mm or 3.5mm headphone jack to connect to this phone. This means that I can only buy their headphones (not much of a selection), and I can't connect it to the jack in my car, or my home stereo system, much less my own headphones.

If you don't mind using their headphones it's great but if not you might want to find a different music phone.

Great little phone

Nov 27, 2007 by pacm

Just got this phone three days ago and I have no complaints. The call quality is much better than my old Nokia 6102. I am so glad to NOT have a flip phone again. The color choices are great, and the phone has a sturdy feel. The screen resolution is superior. I can't seem to send picture messages but I think that it is just a glitch in the system, not in the phone.

Pros:
great size
not a flip phone
good camera
great call reception
good battery life

Cons:
Center button in scroller circle is not the menu button...it would make so much more sense if it were!

Small, Beautiful Feature Packed Phone

Nov 27, 2007 by pavlabel1

I got this phone about 4 days ago with some hesitation, and I'm glad I did! I was going to go with Pantech Duo C810, but they didn't have any in stock. So I ended up going with this. I really wanted a QWERTY keyboard, but you gotta live with what ya got. After finding out the the Duo wasn't in stock, my second choice was the Sony Ericsson W580 / S500. I'm glad I didn't because I later found out it didn't have 3G (the Samsung did), which is absolutely incredible.

Pros:
Speaker phone is pretty good.

As I said before, it has 3G so you could surf the internet. Also, the second or third day after I had gotten it; I got online and somehow stumbled onto MySpace after Googling and artist I like. I then got into his pictures and saved some to my phone. I even saved one of those moving MySpace pictures to my phone. It is now my wallpaper, and it still moves. That is incredible.

Whisper Mode is awesome also. In the manual it explains what Whisper Mode is. "Whisper Mode increases the microphone sensitivity level so you do not have to speak loudly to be heard by the other party."

Video Share is pretty cool too. During a call you can go to it and it initiates a video sharing session which can be live or pre-recorded.

This phone is also a very sleek and beautiful phone. I was looking for a nice slide phone and I obviously found it.

Good signal- AT&T Carmel/Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pretty good battery life, even though I've only had two phones (Sony Ericsson Z520 and the old Samsung X427M.)

I like how you can decide what color you want to get the phone in. (Mines blue)

I think texting is very easy, just read the manual and you will quickly understand how to do it.

It has AIM.

It also has cellular video. (You can watch videos online)

I like how you can easily unlock the phone when it's slid up, just press a soft key and your done.

It pretty much every feature I wanted and then some...

Cons:

The ear piece is kind of muffled, and sounds pretty weird.
