nokia 6133- t-mobile
I would rate this phone a 5.0 if it's camera had a flash to go along with it's 1.3 mp's.
To keep this short, sweet, and to the point, this is an awesome phone. I had the samsung t309 and have gone through 2 of them in
9 1/2 months. Both were defective.
This is a great phone. Make sure when you charge it for the first 2 times, you completley kill the battery before charging it again, you will get the most life out of it like this.
Awesome!!!
This is no doubt the best cell phone that I have owned so far. I waited until T-Mobile offered the phone here in So Cal. I am very happy with it. It is jammed packed with features.
PROS
Multiple themes (1 theme has sound effects when the flip is opened and closed).
Symbian 40 operating system.
Micro SD card slot.
Flight mode.
Active desktop.
FM radio.
Music player plays multiple formats.
Ability to control Powerpoint presentations.
Bluetooth.
Pict Bridge.
Has its own video introduction to show a few features. COOL!!
CONS
Battery life could be longer.
Font size could be a little larger. I'm visually impaired.
Voice commands difficult to do. One must listen to how the phone says it and mimic the speech synthesizer.
Overall I am very satisfied with this phone. I plan on keeping it a for at least 2 years.
As Good as they come (Nokia 6133)
I recently purchased a Nokia 6133 to replace my aging Razr and it has surpassed my expectations based on other reviews. The call clarity is better than the Razr, the signal strength is equal to or better. The overall design, menus and functionality again considerably better than the Razr. The phone has a good solid feel overall, including the keypad. The camera is not quite as good as I was expecting but more than adequate for my needs on a phone. While I read many reviews about a poor battery life that has not been my experience at all.
PROs
-Voice Quality
-Signal Strength
-Design
-Speaker Phone superb
-Bluetooth also very good
-seemingly durable
CONs
-preloaded undesirable ring tones and themes
-personally not fond of the push-button
opening mechanism
Solid Performer, Sound Quality lacking
Just got my Nokia 6131 and first off, looks beautiful.
Pros:
-battery life solid and i talk a lot (not sure why people are complaining)
-screen beautiful
-rf good (Cingular-SE Michigan)
-Voicemail Icon works with unlocked phone and 64k chip
-Bluetooth works well. I have a Nokia BH-900 and it sounds perfect and the other person has no clue. Also cool feature is that my headset's charger works with my phone as well.
-Camera is clear
Cons:
-Sound quality sounds like a Sprint phone. Not Good!
-Incoming calls show up as number instead of name. Probably a setting
No other flip is better!
I've had this mobile for several months and I love it. As with all mobiles there are pro's & con's. I am on the CINGULAR network.
PROs':
16 million colors for main screen plus the resolution is awesome. I have yet to see another mobile device with that.
262k colors for the external screen is unheard of. Most mobiles have only 4k or 62k colors for external screen.
LOUD speakerphone for either voice calls or listening to MP3s'.
Micro SD is nice for those who want to store many songs or photo's due to main phone memory being small.
BT & IR for connection.
Mobile has a good feel in your hands and push to open feature is nice.
Customizable features for contacts (ring tones, photo ID, video caller ID).
Key pad is large which is good for those who text.
1.3 megapixel camera with video capability
EDGE speed for internet.
Size in pocket or in hand is perfect.
Not a common mobile, unlike the RAZR.
CONs':
Battery life is short. Usually have to charge every night.
Reception could be better, not as good as the Nokia 6682.
Flimsy feel to data connector cover.
Camera quality can be improved.
No flash for camera.
Not available yet to CINGULAR, had to purchase unlocked from a mobile retail store for $350 US.
AWESOME!!
Well everything everyone else says positive about this phone I agree with. It's the best one I've had bar none. Why someone in the US has not picked it up is beyond me unless they figure they would not be able to get rid of the garbage they have if they had this to compare. LOL
Cons:
The only cons I have found are the fact that you have to keep the headset plugged in to use as an antenna if you want to listen to FM radio and also that the PC Suite software doesn't seem to recognize the phone and nobody at Nokia USA will help you since it's not approved here. DUH I overcame that in short order however by getting a transcard that has an SD card carrier for it on Ebay. I plug it and the SD into my regular PC, download music, wallpapers and etc onto it and put it back into the phone. It would just be more convenient if I had the Suite.

Great flip phone with great features
Carrier: AT&T
I got this flip phone and loved it during the short time I had it. Listed below are the pros and cons of the device.
PROS:
- world phone
- bright screen
- physical buttons
- good call quality
- good reception
- good speaker
- good speaker phone
- good selection of loud ringtones
CONS:
- The two units I had malfunctioned. The first one made a loud buzzing noise and froze and I had issues with the screen. The second unit screens would turn white when I flipped the phone up to use it.
- No wi-fi
- poor quality camera
Nokia 6126
Pros
- nice giant internal and external displays
- keypad lock
- nice loud ringtones
Cons
- screen turned black when closing the phone
- screen would turn white when the phone was opened
The original Nokia 6126 that I received began having problems three weeks after I got it. After sending it back to the manufacturer and receiving a refurb, I ended up having to send that phone back as well due to the same issues listed in the Cons section of my review. I have not had good luck with this certain device and I do not recommend it to others.
Okay phone, horrible for a Nokia
I've owned a few other phones (2 Nokias, a Motorola, a Samsung, and an LG) before this one, and generally Nokia's were my favorite -- until this one.
PROS
- Looked good when I first purchased it.
- Amazing signal, I get signal everywhere, even in places other ATT phones don't.
- Nice screen (both exterior and interior)
- Large and easy to use buttons.
- Fairly good camera.
CONS
- Scratches everywhere! The silver finish on the outside wore off within months after being in my pocket.
- The push button flip feature is horrible if you put your phone in your pocket (you bump it, and the phone will not close until it opens completely).
- Must recharge battery every night.
- Battery cover is flimsy
- Flip is very flimsy
- Very cheap feel to the entire phone.
PROBLEMS:
- Phone mysteriously powers off on occasion.
- Cannot send or receive picture messages, screen goes blank and the phone completely restarts.
- SIM cards! This phone has burned out 3 SIM cards so far.
Not a bad phone, but by far the worst Nokia I've owned. I wouldn't reccommend this phone to anyone, based on my prior experience. But who knows, maybe I just have a dud.
