It's ok, but could be better
The impressions is not that impressive.
Pros:
Touch screen
Arrow key for scrolling up/down
3.2 megapixels (good for daytime only)
Favorite five displayed on screen
Not many pros!
Cons
No one touch dailing (have only five favorites to easy access)
SCREEN FLASHES WHILE IN USE AND ENABLES YOU TO DAIL OTHER NUMBERS when calling automated companies!
Lock key in the wrong spot :(((
charger input at the top of the phone :(
WHEN USING THE KEYBOARD, THE TOP ROW DOESNT HAVE MUCH SPACE DUE TO THE TOP OF PHONE! and I'm a girl
No flash on a 3.2 mp camera phone :(
Not a lot of options that I can explore, I could go on and on what this phone doesn't do but I won't.
GREAT PHONE!!!
If they had added mobileTV this phone would be the complete package (hence the 4.5). The touch screen is smooth. I turned off the haptic feedback and its WAY better than an I-Phone. Sorry I need a phone that isn't going to brick up randomly.
Don't Waste Your Time
I will make this short and sweet.
Pros-Nice Screen
Nice Keyboard
Solid Feel
Cons- Touch screen Sucks I thought it was going to be like the Eternity but the touch is not smooth at all. Scrolling is bad and just over all touch screen is sub-par
The lock button is in the worst possible place and you have to hold it with both hands to lock it because it slides the keyboard when you push it with one hand.
The color is blue should have made it black but thats my preference
GOOD, BUT NOT GREAT
I have had this phone for about 3 months now and the second month i started experiencing major problems with it.
1) my phone would stop sending messages (while in 3G coverage) and i would have to restart the phone everytime.
2) my phone would receive messages from 5 min- 1hr later (still in 3G coverage)
3) calls would not come through, meaning no notification that someone was calling or had called.
I even called at&t and had them send me a replacement phone and this phone does the same thing.
Those were the three major things; I mean for me thats all i really use my phone for texting and calling and to have those problems bugged me a lot.
PROS:
-beautiful great touch screen
-great keyboard
-touch screen and qwerty keyboard
-very customizable
-Internet is great
-sound/media player is awesome!!
-other than sending and receiving issues, texting is great
-camera is alright
-call quality is great
-widgets are great feature
CONS:
-LOCK KEY WRONG SPOT
-BATTERY LIFE SUCKS
-TRANSFERRING CONTACTS FROM PHONE TO SIM OR VICE VERSA IS VERY DIFFICULT
-PHONE HEATS UP ETREMELY HOT WHILE TALKING
-AFTER HOUR OF TALKING BATTERY IS DEAD
-CANT DOWNLOAD ALOT OF APPS OR GAMES FOR THE PHONE
-voice mail is complicated
-cant change screen saver
-screen scratches easily
Impression Definately Making Impressions!!
The Impression is very similar to the Eternity as in features. However, the Eternity has Mobile TV and the Impression does not. One feature that I thought was outstanding was the touch screen. The touch screen is by far better than the Eternity. It is faster than other phones, excluding the iPhone. I have a lot of experience with cell phones and have noticed this on my own and with other people. Even though the Impression has the full qwerty keyboard which is a tad large for my smaller hands, what's even better is that you still have the option to use the touch screen full qwerty keyboard. The camera is awesome. The lock key is a little different. Instead of just pressing the button you have to hold it down for a second or two to lock or unlock it. Other than that it is a great phone. My fiancee wants it really bad and I planning on buying it for him.
Pros: very responsive touch screen
: awesome camera
: phone has some weight
: large, clear screen
Cons: may be a little large for some
: not a PDA
: still not as good as iPhone
