thin and sleek phone

Sep 23, 2007 by opitru

I am very happy I made the right choice when I decided to upgrade and go for the VX 8350. It's very light and looks good. Buttons felt very comfortable to use right away. Camera takes great pictures, that was a nice surprise. Call quality is great. I also like the quality of the speaker phone, it's clear and loud.

Very satisfied

Camera is great, call quality and reception is excellent, display is beautiful, nice and crisp.

This phone is perfect, it's exactly what I was looking for i.e. a light and nice looking phone loaded with features that does not cost an arm & a leg. Thank you LG!!

LG scores again

As a verizon wireless premium dealer i pride myself in offering the LG brand to customers right away. in the telecomunications world LG is the most reliable phone producer with its great software and userfriendly instructions. Alot of people complain about the inability to store more than 50 messages in your inbox but the truth is that allowing only this many inside the phone at one time keeps the phone running smoothly thus keeping the customer happy. Motorola allows unlimited amounts of text message storage but what others don't understand is that it slows their software tremendously! making glitches and problems more common among the motorola. The LG 8350 is a great phone put together brilliantly by LG. it will do everything you want in a cellphone except for watch tv. you can store up to 4G of memory and music. the speakers are great and provide a good sound. out of all of the phones we sell monthly i can say that the 8350 rules the market by far and will be have the #1 consumers rating like its predecesor the LG 8300. If you are looking for a phone that will last throughout your two year contract i would rely on the 8350. not only is it a great phone but it is sold at a great price for everything that you get with the phone.

The LG VX 8350 - Pretty Awesome Phone

I have had this phone for several days, so played around with it a bit. I thought I wouldn't be too crazy about this phone, NOT TRUE! It is sleek, thin, light. I thought I wouldn't like the color, but it is a grey with a hint of purple in it. I think that contrast really makes it nice looking. Some people say it's too plain, I think it's nice looking. Sometimes a little plain is not so bad. The sound quality is excellent. The resolution on both screens is great! Outside screen alot better than the 8300. Much clearer. Feels great in the hand. Light, but sturdy. Sound is loud. Speakers are on back of phone. Most standard ringtones quite loud. No red Verizon bars, which is great. Sounds like you are on a landline phone. Overall I feel this is a great phone to have. The only thing I wish it had was a brighter backlight on keypad, but it's not bad. Keypad is very comfortable to use. I am very satisfied with this phone, I think LG put out another quality product. And it's not super high priced like alot of them out there. Bought it at retail price. Love this phone. Glad I purchased it!!!

Bad Phone

I had this phone for a day. It is supposed to be an upgrade to the 8300 but in my opinion it was a downgrade. Gone are the great speakers the 8300 had replaced by the uninspiring speaker. The display themes are better on the 8300 also. This battery isn't as strong as the 8300 (1000 mAh as oppsed to the 1100mAh) in the 8300. If you have the accessories for the 8300 they will not work on the 8350. They went with the connectors the chocolate uses. I also like the feel of a phone that appears to have some guts. This one is totally made of plastic and feels cheap. The phone was sent back to Verizon

Total JUNK

This phone is garbage! I normally think LG makes fantastic phones but this one is a real letdown. Cheap, toyish feel. Terrible speaker-phone, buttons too close together and very uninspiring look and design. I went to the RAZR2 and it blows this piece of crap away.

Best phone!

This phone is over all the best easy phone. For a old person a young adult, or even a first phone for a child. This is a good over all basic phone. :)

Don't Buy This Phone

Nov 3, 2007 by nambach

I've had the LG 8350 for 5 days and it is going back. I had the LG 6100 and loved this phone but got a new phone on new every two. I wanted the LG 8300 but could no longer get it and was told the 8350 is an upgrade. As far as I'm concerned it is a definite downgrade. I'm having hinge problems already, it has a weak battery, no camera flash like the 8300, no good display themes, really bad ringers, bad reception (which I wonder is because of no external antenna). This phone is of poor quality material. The only good thing about this phone is that it is small and light and the reason why I bought it but it is a very cheaply made phone. When opening the phone, it creaks and groans so don't think the hinge will last very long. This phone has made me think before buying another LG. I thought LG made the best phones but doubt that this will be one of them.

dissapointed

got this phone for my wife and got a razor for me...from every thing i read i thought the razor was going to be a problem, but so far it's been the 8350 that is a problem...biggest problems with this phone is voice clarity and reception...this phone has great features and i've been a big fan of LG,but what good is it when you can't make a call...maybe i just got a bad phone....taking this one back!
