Good phone
After saw some reviews on voyager-lg.com I have decided to go to a verizon wireless retail store to check the phone out. to my surprise, the phone is actually lighter than I thought. It does looks like iphone in some sense, except the great feature that we all agree on was the QWERTY keyboard. A weakness I would like to mention is that it doesn't have JAVA capability.

i just purchased the LG voyager yesterday morning and like it a lot.
PROS:
-touch screen is amazingly precise
-typing is very easy on the full qwerty keyboard
-ringtones are very loud and clear
-right size,shape and weight
-lock is nice
CONS:
-browzer is a LITTLE bit slow, but what phone's isnt
-battery life is OK

I played with one at CC a few days ago and really liked it.
I got mine in the mail yesterday and am in love with it. Is it a do "everything" phone.......NO.
Why someone would post a review on here complaining about WiFi when it has been known for months that it doesn't have WiFi ?? I don't need it, it has a full html browser and BTW, mine works fine :)
I do a lot of texting and this thing rocks. The outer screen texts awesome and VERY easy.
Did a backup of my contacts from VZW online and was up and running in minutes:)
Only thing I haven't been able to do is ringtones and music off my memory card? Will check into this when I get time (Turkey Day and busy) lol
If you want to know about the phone, go and look at it or download the manual and read about it. Try not to put too much into a few of the "dumb" negative posts that some peeps (kids) put on here :)

Great/Fun phone!
I really enjoy this phone. I ordered it online and got it the day it came out. I'm a third party member for a few different carriers and am switching back to verizon so i wanted to get a nice phone to show off a little.
Pros: The touch screen is awesome hands down. It vibrates to let you know that you've properly hit a key. Speakers on the inside are very cool and sound quality on phone calls is outstanding.
The scrolling function was weird at first but is actually better than the Iphone. I've seen several people bashing how you can scroll. No offense but anyone who plays a first person shooter or a techy for that manner can figure out that the scrolling function is inverted (kinda like a .pdf file with the hand function.) I think people should stop complaining about it.
Cons: I think Windows should have teamed up with LG and waited a little bit to create an extremely awesome phone. The browser is a little limited (SO IS THE IPHONE, it's a damn telephone anywho :P)
Overall this is a sweet phone. I enjoy most of its features and the battery life is actually pretty good. People that say the battery life isnt that good have no clue what they are talking about. I played non-stop with my phone after i gave it a full charge for almost a day straight and finally just got done charging it 24 hours later. It's not necessarily the Iphone killer. They are two seperate devices all together. I personally feel the Voyager is a much better device and wouldnt trust an apple product if it hit me in the face. The Iphone 2 is coming out 4Q next year anywho and i imagine that they will fix the little things that needed to be fixed on the voyager to compete the next time around. Not quite sure who said "i'm gonna return it and go back to my 8300" but i dont consider your review a fair one. those are two completely different devices and you're just a hater :). If you want a sweet phone then get this one. Dont expect a rocket ship, expect a CELL PHONE.
the voyager rocks
before i got my voysger i had an enV i hated it i would have still had it now if my mom hadn't accidently put my shorts in the wash (in the pocket was my enV) so i waited until i was ready for my upgrade and i got the voyager wooohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)
BEST PHONE I EVER HAD(my 22 PHONE!)
This is not an iphone or a PDA! It is just a fancy phone! The internet is amazing and the tv doesn't work in my area yet. Otherwise, it is just like the env! I recommend this phone to everybody. Ther is one thing that is annoying which is when you turn it on it lags because it is uploading so much data. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!

phone is very well put together. i'll still to the cons here:
cons:
no flash on camera
speakerphone can only be used when phone is flipped open, disappointing to ppl like me who use SP alot
unlock function is not a great idea. i tried to turn it off through the menu and it still locks from time to time,... very sporatic
battery life is not awesome...but im picky when it comes to that. buying the extended battery might be a good decision for some.
thats about it, seems that most of the cons are the same when I read through the reviews. looks great feels even better. defintely worth the buy and wait..
Voyager - Get to know it!
This phone is the best phone I have ever had and, except for minor improvements to it, There are few phones above it!
Pros:
Both touch screen and full keyboard
two screens in case one breaks
great call sound quality
very smart about locking the front
Cons:
OK battery life
Txt msg ringtone doesn't play when front is locked
front locks when flip is shut, even when auto-lock is off
easy to use menus
For those that think that the touch screen is sometimes inactive....when the phone isn't used for a while, the front becomes completely inactive unless you press the end key. purpose: conserve battery life and eliminate in-pocket availability. This feature is great and very smart. Pressing the end key to get the touch screen to be active isn't a hard concept to remember.
Spectacular phone
Since this phone is not a PDA and has never claimed to be one, please stop rating it as such ... The Voyager is an amazing high quality multi media phone. It is the best one LG and Verizon have to offer.

Full QWERTY Keyboard with very nice buttons
HTML web browsing
Speakerphone quality (holds even at high volume)
Cons:
Ringtones could be louder

LG Voyager VX-10000
Just purchased my Voyager today. It is fantastic. Most advanced phone Verizon has ever made with every feature imaginable. Beautiful inside and outside screens, intuitive menus, wonderful call and receive quality, great browser. Strongly suggest you buy the silicone cover. Not expensive and protects the phone; however, the plastic holster for carrying the phone is going back. Doesn't work well and cheaply made. Also, strongly suggest to read the entire manual cover to cover to appreciate this phone. Learning curve for sure but you will grow to love the phone even more after doing this.
