Best Sprint Phone Ever
I just upgraded from the Samsung A600 to this phone, and I love it.
It has much better reception
great features such as voice screening(answering machine)
The only down side is that it is a little bulky, but overall, I think this is the best sprint phone out there
The Best Sprint Phone I've Had By Far!
I previously had a 5350 which was a very durable phone, but i felt left behind by all the new camera phones my friends had so i purchased a Sanyo 8100. There are many great features about this phone including the built in camera, fun frames, vibrate w/ downloaded ringers, and external color screen, but the best feature of this phone is the signal it receives which blows all the rest of my previous phones put the water!
Pros. Bright internal and external screens
Signal strength is outstanding
Ear piece volume is great

Cons.Keys sport a dim lime colored back-light
downloaded ringers are sometimes low
memory is low compared to other vision
phones (500KB)

Terrific Phone!!!
No complaints at all! Battery life outperformed that of any other cell phone I owned (still on 2 bars and already past 16 days!). Lavender color scheme looks really cute and unique; and the camera itself is pretty good for some of those memorable moments. Reception and sound are totally superb... better than using a landline! Plus, my fave screensaver covers the whole LCD in its bright, true colors. And the sound? OMG, the sound is unimaginable! The songs/ringers I downloaded for my phone to really make it my own sound 98% exactly that of their original versions, thanks to the 8100's 32 chords! This phone is just perfect for me as I love to talk with my boyfriend for hours at a time and I do travel a lot. Sprint's America Free and Clear plan is also pretty affordable for me. Receptionwise and service-wise, Sprint beats Verizon, from my own personal experience. I'll definitely keep my 8100 for a long, long time!
sanyo 8100
i just purchased the sanyo 8100, not only did i get the mail in rebate for 100 dollars. But i was a sprint account holder for seven months, and last week i signed a year contract. well they gave me a hundred dollars credit to my account to use on a new phone. So basically i got this cell phone for free. This is one of the best cell phones i have ever seen, i had the lg 1010, but i felt like upgrading and whoa is this an improvement. there are so many options on this phone, i wouldn't change a thing about it. this is the best cell phone on the market!

Overall a hot phone. I work at radio shack so I see phones in and out of my store and for the amount of features this particular phone possesses it's a steal. Good job Sanyo

Absolutely Amazing!
This is definitely a superb phone. Putting the 8100 up against the 5300, I cannot justify why anyone should buy the 5300. I upgraded from a Sanyo 6200 and I am very please with the same wonderful user experience I had with my 6200.

The sanyo 8100 is by far one the the best phones on the market, and probably the best phone and most affordable one sold by sprint. I am a sprint representative so I should know a thing or two. It's allot smaller than its predecessor the 5300 and it comes in three cool colors, the reception is awesome and the. Having a vision plan makes it an extra sweet deal. This phone has saved allot of my customers from switching to different companies, it's true what they say, once you go Sanyo you can't turn back to anything else.

This phone is amazing! I recenty became attracted to camera phones and picked up the VX6000 from Verizon. I quickly returned that phone however when I saw this phone. The picture quality is far superior, even though there is no zoom feature. The sound of the ringers is awesome, and the external color caller-id screen is remarkable. The best features of this phone are the camera, mobile web, downloadable applications (games, screensavers, ringers), and the brilliant color display. This is the 10th cell phone I've owned and it is far superior to any of the others.
