This phone is ment for customers you want to look stylish, and feel like a celeb. If you want a techy phone go get a MDA! This phone is ment to be played with and have fun with. Not ment for technical use.
I love this phone to death. Its got everything I want a phone to do plus a little more fun! I would suggest this to anyone who is not all into the technical world but wants to still have a cool phone with cool features!
PS: As far as the signal is worth, I have not had one problem...I get full bars wherever I go! For those of you out there complaining abou it...You live in a place where the towers are far away and hard to track the signal...not phone fault...your wireless company fault!
Side Kick 3 is a hit but missing a few to be great!!
Well after 2 weeks of playing with this badboy I came to realize that ethier T-MOBILE or Danger sucks When it comes to keeping up with modern day technology. I have seen atleast 40 different forums stating the problems on the sidekick 2 that they wish whould be corrected in the sidekick 3 But... its still the same B.S.! Now dont get me wrong the sidekick 3 is better than the 2, But if you already had the 2 you start to realize alot of the same problems or things you wish was fix that aren't. WHY OH WHY WHOULD THEY STICK TO THE SAME LCD QUALITY AS THE SIDEKICK 2??? That was the NUMBER 1 delima I had with it and the rerst of the world even paris hilton. SO many nights I stuggled to see my screen or so many sunny days I had 2 tilt my sidekick different ways to get the glare away. The colors look very dull and not life lik, like most PDA's or even high-end cell phones I have such as the MM9000 Treo 700P PPC-6700 the list goes on and danger just continues after almost 2 and half years of research to use Colors: 65,536 (16-bit) WOW get with the times man. Overall I will recommend this over the Sidekick 2 for a few reasons but not to many here

-key coated very comfortable on fast texting
-Web is a tad bid faster
-Memory card slot
-able to transfer MP3's
-Battery 4.5 hours long
-Smaller than the 2 fits in tight places like pockets better
-Bluetooth!

Con's
-#1 the LCD screen is not back lit and looks dull 24-7 unless inside from direct sunlight.
-Volume of ringtones and speaker phone still sounds drained out no upgrade
-Camera quality is only good in lighten places dosnt seem like 1.3
-while surfing the web it tends to slow down periodically after a few pages and reboots
-NO UP 2 DATE RINGTONES(Young buck-Shorty wanna ride with me) (damn thats old)
-Reception is not that great the exact same as Sidekick 2
Danger or T-Mobile GET WITH THE Program please the sidekick 3 pretty far behind from todays cell phones and PDA's
BEST PHONE EVER
There are people here complaining how the bluetooth, camera and mp3 are not good enough. I cant say anything about the bluetooth except who really needs it. but the other things

THIS IS NOT A DIGITAL CAMERA EITHER IT WAS MEANT FOR QUICK SNAPSHOTS NOT FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND ITS MUCH BETTER THAN VGA SO STOP COMPLAINIG YOU BIG BABIES.
AND IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE OS THEN RETURN THE PHONE BECAUSE YOU NITTPICKERS WILL FINE A PROBLEM WITH ANYTHING I MEAN COME ON STOP WASTING EVERYONE'S TIME BY POSTING THESE ASSANINE REVIEWS, NOTHING IS PERFECT.
The major pros/cons
My take on it:
Pros
- Bluetooth, this is an essential feature (for me)
- Slightly smaller in size
Neutral
- trackball, it's slick and it works well, but I was happy with the scroll wheel on the SKII
- new keyboard is touted as an improvement, I think I'd prefer the old one (but I'm told there was more breakage with it)
- music player, it's no iPod but at least it has something built in.
- battery, better than my previous phone but I'd like it to last 2x-3x longer ideally
Cons
- New Camera that is still horrible, doesn't even compare to the cheapest digital camera
- Bluetooth, also a pro, but it's very, very unstable with my Lexus. Basically unusable.
If only I could get it to go collect my e-mail as it's supposed to, I'd give it another notch up on the ratings, but four phone calls to Tmobile still hasn't solved my e-mail collection problem.

Nearly Perfect
This phone is great. It has had many improvements. It now has bluetooth, java support, 1.3 megapixel camera, removable battery, better size, plastic keys, memory card slot, and much more. It would have been perfect if it had a better screen, wifi, Fm radio, and better battery, as well as setting MP3 files from the Mp3 player on the phone as ringtones. Other then that its a great little gadget and device.

Omg! I love my sk3. . . .its not dat much different from the sk2 except it has mp3, bluetooth, n watever edge is. . ., ne ways. ..d colors r different.. My obsession wit sidekicks began a couple a months ago, wen I barely got sk2. .. .I kno. . .barely...well I had sum problems with it so I took it bak n got a downgrade aka RAZR V3. I couldn't get use 2 a regular fone anymore. . .so I was looking for a handheld fone. . .n guess wat I saw. . .sk3. . .so I got it. . .and I don't regret it! Well enough bout my life. . .d sk3 is koo. . .I LOVE THE ATTENTION I GET WITH IT!!!!!! Everywhere I go. Now I know how paris hilton feels. Also its little...one thing that kinda bothers me. . .its a bit too little, well atleast the keyboard. I keep pressing the wrong keys. . .but its also that I don't have small fingers. So. . .what else is there 2 say. . . I love it. . .the mp3 is koo. . .its so freakin cool. . .you get so many looks with it. . .I can't get over that. . .everybody stares at you. . .good looks I might add. Its the best phone I've had so far. . .can't wait for the so call sidekick razr coming out september 2007. I don't believe it though. Pros:

The ringtone catalog sucks!!!! It has so many old songs....that's tmobiles fault.
Catalog not enough variety of applications and ringtones. . . .its suppose to be updated when it comes out for other people that don't hav tmobile july 10th.

BREAKING NEWS!!
All of the reviewers are idiots!! First of all, the Sidekick 3 DOES NOT use Wi-Fi, it does not support Wi-Fi or infared in any way, shape or form. It uses EDGE techonology which is the same as GPRS except that it is a little faster. The reason why the MDA and SDA's internet runs more quickly than the Sidekick 3 is because both of those devices do have Wi-Fi, the Sidekick 3 does not. For further clarification, the Sidekick legacy has ALWAYS been manufactued by Sharp and the service is provided by Danger. T-mobile provides the telephone service of the Sidekick and Danger supplies the data service for the Sidekick. Also..please use spellcheck because I know most of you at least have an education of 8th grade or higher, so stop making yourself look StUpiDs YA'LLZ Wit yur poooor grammer.
good, but could be better
I hate to sound like the presenter of bad news, but like a Quentin Tarentino film, I expected more. There was the big rumor of it having EDGE and it does, but not like the SDA and MDA has. The speeds are good but it is not a phone with the TRUE WiFi capacity. As for the 1.3 megapixel, could have been better too. It does not do a good job in a dark area and if the area is kind of dim, it produces a horrible shot. The speaker.....WOW it sucks!!! You would think that it would give a better reception with it in the front, but it doesn't; so you have to put it next to your ear to hear it (if you are not listen via headphones. Now before you get your panties in a bunch, I am an Original sidekicker, from the first on until this one and though it has its flaws, it is still a good phone. The bluetooth is nice and the keypad is better built. That makes up for us heavy hand and quick typing users. If you are like me, study your âinvestmentâ and make sure you are getting you monies worth. Never be outdone by your second thoughts. Enjoy!!

I Love this phone! I consider this one of the greatest things ive eva looked at considering that I have seen a lot of important things. This sk3 is my life in my hands! It's qwerty keyboard is very stylish! 5.0 all together! Buy this phone it is the hottest thing rolling around considering that huge bash that was was thrown for the sk3. Brandy, Hilary Duff,Halie Duff,Jessica Simpson,Christina Milan,Eva Longornia and Aaron Carter all have one. If your looking for a stylish,new,hot and superior
phone then this is da one. T-Mobile does a great job with the signal in this particular phone. The Danger Hiptop is a fav website. All of my life from now on this thing will be in my hands.
My New Baby!
I just bought my sidekick 3. Since I've had it I have nothing but loved it and babied it...unfortunetally my friend had to buy one of his own when he didn't really need to because the day I got mine he went to hold mine over the bridge to tease me and I accidentally swiped his sk2 and it flew like 40 ft. Into the waters and he never saw it again...so anyway I got my sk3 back and stuff...but yea so the sk3 is way better than the sk2 my only concerns are the phone can't send pix messages via another phone # but it can send it via someones email which takes longer but turns out ok... another concern is it still don't have a video recorder and last but not least it is not made from danger® anymore it is now made from sharp®... I am in love with my sk3 and I think it is the best thing to ever bill me for...hehe and to top it off I just wrote this on my sk3 top that blackberry!
