Motorola V300

Make it LOUDER!
I got this phone in the beginning of March so far the phone is working and i haven't had any problems for me to send it back like others might have had to do, my theory is they got a bad apple.
ISSUES:
One: The signal and sound clarity? I don't know if this is a phone issue or a T-MOBLE ISSUE..at night the signal gets nasty a times, during the day its good not great but good.
Two: The speaker phone could be louder and the regular volume could be louder.
Three: Camera pictures while zoomed in could be more sharp.
Those are the only gripes i have with the phone. Good phone overall.
Love it
Theres nothing I don't like, except that it doesn't have bluetooth, that would be helpful for getting mp3 ringtones, BUT I'm going to buy a USB cable, problem solved. ;)
Pros!
Reception is fantastic.
Camera is wonderful, when you zoom in it gets grainy, thats to be expected IMO.
LOVE the external display, and its fairly functional, you can change the ring style etc from there.
Cons?
My battery doesn't last long, thats not the phones fault, I haven't left the darn thing alone long enough for the poor battery to charge. lol
Changable face plates would be nice, and I only say that because my boyfriend and I have the same phone, its just a matter of checking the wallpaper to see who's is who's, but the option would be nice. Not a big deal.
LOVE THIS PHONE!
better than samsung e715
i've been owning samsung e715 for already 2 months and am not quite satisfied with it due to so-called intenna. reception is terrible inside buildings; motorola v300 is way ahead in terms of reception. its design is cool, i like the color as well. screen is bright and brisk, menu is user friendly. i easily give this phone 5 points. go for it!
Great Phone,.. Great Plan
I just purchase the MV300, and maybe it's just a thrill about having a new phone, but no, that this is the fact that this really is a great phone. And Even better a Flawless plan. 39.99 for 1000 min and Free Nights AND weekends. Free Internet. and 300 text messg for only 2.99. Anyway back to the phone... Greate phone, Perfectly clear display, Great camera ( and the brightness feature really helps at night ( no need for flash)) Able to use Voice Ringers, Personalize phonebook entries( Voice Ringer for Each phonebook entry), AIM ready, and the online portion of the phone is extremly easy to use, to hassle or long wait time. Overall for the avg person, (who doesn't constiently travle across the globe) this phone meets all my NEEDS and more.
Almost there...
This phone is great, don't get me wrong, but I can't help but to give it a 2. The screen is great hands down the best and pictures taken outdoors look super. Even though it only supports 24 chords, it sounds better than most phones. I live in south Mississippi where T-Mobile does not have that great of service, but the V300 held up like a champ. That is where the good review ends. Software issues ran amuck with this phone. First the battery status was not working (it would say full charged even after you removed the charger), you couldn't use the end button or turn the phone off, a hard shock took care of that problem, then the pictures started warping and the camera would lock up. Downloading took for ever and picture messages would sit in the inbox for a few hours before the attachment would show up. Also, if you want to add a specific ring tone to a certain person or a caller ID picture, you had to save the contact to the phone and not the sim. Lastly, to charge a full battery it would take 4-6 hours for only 2 or so hours of talk time, and if you played with the camera or ringtones, you'd be luck to get that. The old saying, 'Let the buyer beware' rings all to true with this phone, I'm just glad I got to take it back within the 14 days. I got the Samsung E715, I'll let ya'll know that holds up.
Amazing phone
Wonderful phone. I just bought two of these phones as upgrades to our old motorola T722i handsets we had been using. I am amazed at how much I like this phone. Will be hard to give it up if i ever change carriers.
Pros: Soft touch cover is amazingly comfortable, camera is very adequate, ring tones sound very good, phone feels very solid (not plastic), reception has been wonderful, styling is very hip and attractive, loaded with features, web browsing is very easy to use. etc.
Cons: Could come in other colors than blue, speakerphone could be usable when closed, antenna could be shorter

GET IT NOW WHILE IT'S THERE, OR WAIT FOR MOTOROLA V600!
Wow....just WOW
Amazing phone. I was really debating on buying this phone. I wanted the E715, but the price was more than i wanted to spend. I ended buying this phone, despite not liking it's looks. The looks and feel grew on me really fast. Button layout rules as does the picture screen. Beautiful colors, best screen out. MP3 rings are simply amazing as well. I never owned a Motorola phone and never wanted to, but my T300 just wasn't cutting it. I am not dissapointed at all. The only time my phone hit 2 battery bars is when I downloaded 4 MP3 rings to my phone in the same day. I use my phone all do and never drain the battery.
Sound is awesome, ringtones are loud. What more could you ask for?!
I love this phone! The best one so far
I love my motorola v300. I love the color screen. I love the ringtones. MP3 ringers, wow! It is amazing. It is strong, but soft to the touch. I love it. I hope that it will remain this great months down the road.
Pros: Speaker phone, mp3 ringers, camera, picture phonebook, motomixer, web browser, application lock, games.
Cons:The phone acts slow at times. Usually turning my phone off fixes this problem.
A glitch in the software.
Great for the average phone user!
My fiance and I have had this phone for about six months and are pleased with it compared to other phones we've had in the past.
Pros:
-cosmetics; love how this phone looks, doesn't slide around; didn't think we'd like or get used to the buttons, but they posed no problem
-front display; clear and bright
-camera; decent for a phone w/ zoom and contrast options (don't expect digital quality)
-side buttons; come in handy for quick ring style change
-speakerphone; very loud and crystal clear
-display screen; big and vibrant
-menu options; you can choose your own set up
-games; great graphics
-ringtones; good sound quality, really like mp3 availability
-multimedia; pictures look great if proper size
-phonebook; different view settings, allows different ringtones for different groups, speed-dial
-battery; doesn't last as long as others but will last a whole weekend with out re-charging
Cons:
-handset; didn't notice at first but can barley hear even with volume all the way up
-side buttons; make an unnesessary sound when pressed (annoying in public when checking the time)
-software; not sure if this is a software problem or not but phone used to freeze up even during a phone call, and wouldn't end by pressing the button or shutting the phone
-ringtones; if the file is too big or long the phone is slow to answering a call
Even with the few issues we incountered, we like this phone over our past ones. The bad reception (even in my apartment) can only be blamed on T-Mobile as other carriers have better service in the same area.
