Great Phone
This phone works great. It menu is easy to use and very user friendly. The screen is sharp and clear. The camera option is easy to use as well. You can use it when the phone is open or closed, with the flash as well. The phone has of shortcuts set in the phone as well. The speaker phone is a nice option when you just need to listen and can't do much talking. The men know what I am talking about. The clarity of the phone is nice as well, the ringer is loud enough to hear and the ear piece is loud as well. The battery life is great, I went two days with out charging the phone and I was talking on it. As far as long term life of the phone and the battery it is "to soon to tell." But I do think it is absolutely maddening that you have to keep your phone longer than a year and you have a two year contract. The phones, or batteries are not lasting as long as the contracts. This is making , I will repeat ALOT of customers upset with there provider, whoever it may be.

Virgin Mobile has Another star on his newly redesign i am going to said audiovox flasher V7, this is my second cell phone from virgin mobile first i had the kyocera k7 and that thing was iight being because it was my first cell phone. but this phone is super A+ i know the name brand is cheap But still this cell phone is good the menu thing is great when i check my balance that thing look hot to plus the games and ringtones Tell me which company offer you more then virgin mobile that is prepaid. well Boost Mobile Is the company that is giving competition to Virgin Mobile but if u are a person who talks alot on a prepaid plan that talk more in the day then in the night go with virgin mobile. virgin mobile got customer support. all i want to said is that this new redisign model from audiovox 8610 is Hot! or i forgot about the picture quality is hot too and the blue case is hot this phone looks way better then the audiovox for verizon. My sister owns the motorola v400 from cingular and i think this two phone will make competition.
Excellent Value!
I returned my Samsung a670 for this phone for one main reason: THE PRICE. But after playing with it for a while, I realized its such a better phone. Also, the a670 has video capture, but you can only store 2 12 second clips and you can't even send them.

CONS:
Speakerphone could be a little louder
So could the ringtons
So far, everything is not even worth mentioning, because they really don't matter. Besides, it's a phone, NOT a camera. So if you have problems with the camera quality not being the best, buy yourself a REAL digital camera. These are just for fun.
All in all, this phone is an exceptional value, Cingular doesn't even offer a phone this good at this price. Packed with features and fun, this phone is excellent for teens or young adults who enjoy using their phones for more than just talking.
Very Nice Phone
This is a very nice phone. I am with Cellular South and i got the phone Saturday 6/6/05. It is a very user friendly phone i howhow to maneuver it in 10 mins.Here are the cons and pros

i just bought this phone in Jan '05, it's a fun-to-use phone. has an awesome camera for during the day, can't see anything at all even with some lighting in a darker area... flash is not that great either. display is nice and big, can play some wicked ringtones, a little on the expensive side for some downloads but in the end it makes your phone totaly personalized. i have my service thru Bell Mobility here in Alberta, Canada. has a great coverage area but i'm sorry to say, my phone loses signal more than anything... i used to have the Audiovox CDM 8200, it got better signal than this one... and that phone was a piece of you know what....... i'm actually considering buying a new phone already....

-my camera auto activates when the Keylock is ON!!! what's up with that........and then it drains my battery to nothing after takeing it off the charger that morning...
-when you get True Tones (mp3 type ring tones) for the phone they SUCK! it's all muffled....
-ringer is not loud enough
-and you can't even use the Alarm when the phone is turned off...
a great little phone!
I just got this phone 2 months ago and I love it! It's got a great little camera in it with a decent flash, but the speaker phone could be better. I'm finding that the reception is great inside buildings(a huge bonus). I really like the size and weight of the phone and while powered off it charges quickly...the only real drawback is that the ring tone and speaker phone aren't very loud. I find that even on maximum volume, it's not very loud and you can easily miss calls if there is additional background noise. If they could make this phone with louder volume control, then it would be the perfect little phone!
Hot Flasher Virgin Mobile Exclusive
Virgin Mobile carries an exclusive edition of this phone. My friend got it recently and absolutely loves it. I have used it a few times myself and usually I don't like flip phones, but this one is hott. A great phone that you can get on the Pay As You Go Plan.
It's an alright phone.
It's an alright phone for now, but I would like to have a Tri-mode phone. It has a camera which is a bonus, but it not very good picture quality, and the flash is a joke.
