6682 NO PTT???!!!
this is a great phone as 2.5 g phones go but why the hell is cingular not enabling it's PTT feature???
dont spend the three bills on this 2.5g phone until ptt is onboard. might as well wait a lil longer for the samsung 3g phone cingular's about to roll out!
The Good Outweighed the Bad
This was my 4th phone i had during my short-lived time with Cingular. What was good was good and what was bad was bad.
Pros:
Really nice camera/video, to say the least.
It was a bar model. I favor bar models.
It held many text messages (at least 400 in and 400 out).
I loved the wide array of features.
Videos played on Real Player.
It's nokia. I like that brand.
Cons:
The signal was awful.
My phone often called people often whether it as in my pocket, the case, etc... It made a lot of people pissed off.
Having to constantly lock my phone.
One hour of video was the maximum alloment.
The pros outweighed the cons. Too bad I wasn't able to take it with me to Verizon.
a breath of fresh air.
i have suffered with my buzzing SLVR for too long, and now i've just bought this phone and it is a true pleasure to use. i love the smart phone features and the extended memory. call quality is fantastic and i get great reception where i previously had none (cingular). i really haven't much to add to the pros and cons except for some minor things.
i had to manually move contacts from SIM to contacts book, which takes time.
i had an issue with "memory low" when i tried to use the camera while other apps were open (WIX).
video quality is poor, but who cares, cause i don't shoot video of my important life events with my phone anyway.
EDGE is blazing, and i feel i will enjoy this phone more than any other phone i've had.
divorce papers will be served to motorola shortly...
(ONE THING to remember is that this is a "smartphone" NOT a PDA)
The Best Phone
This is the best phone yet. I love everything about it. The internet on it is much faster than on my 7610. And I thought that phone was good. The flash is great! I took a pic of my son in my truck when it was dark & it came out absolutely incredible. But the keypad isn't lighting up. I don't know if something is wrong with my phone or not. But this phone rocks!!!
