Motorola ROKR U9
Average Ratings
Not Bad
I bought this phone for my wife who has had razor for the past couple of years and she loves it. I haven't had the time to go into it fully but with the basic over view it's not bad at all.
Good:
slim phone good for small hands
works with windows media (mine came with Windows Media 11.0)
Basic moto fuctions
stereo bluetooth
expandable memory
Bad:
a little bit to small for big hands
flat key pad makes it hard to navigate
Overall I am pleased with this phone its a decent buy.
Nice Little Phone
Originally had the U6 then updated to the U9. This is my second one. Dropped the first one and the ringer died. No problems with this one and have had over a year. Small size, easy to carry. Keys are way better than the earlier version. NOT for someone with large hands! I use mine as a phone, camera, recorder. Has many other features but I'm pretty much a "basic" user. I like it.
bad buy
I bought this phone in august 2008. my friend had it and I liked what I saw. But within a month of my buying it, its flip top started giving me trouble. It would open with a bit of ressistance. Before I realized what was happening, the corner below the hinge (where the top is attached to the phone) came out.
Now my friendâs phone has developed the SAME defect. On top of it, the place where I purchased it from ( RPG Cellucom) has the same model displayed there which has the SAME defect. Its seems to be a design defect.
Since then I have been running from pillar to post. I am willing to pay (though the phone is still in warranty period) for a replacement of the band that runs around the phone, there is no guarantee that it wont happen again. I feel the company should recall this model. If you are planning to buy this model, think twice before doing so.
HOPEFUL
well,i went to a phone shop and had a mess around with this phone, took some pics, explored functions and everything and although stylish, it seems really solid and reliable!!!
PS - i am buying this phone tomorrow!
