Samsung SGH-T229
Ordinary at best
After 2.5 years my Motorola PEBL finally quit working. I thought that a less complicated phone would work for me, and I did not want to spend much money. I bought it online. I like the noises it makes, but the ringtones are limited, and some of them are on the corny side. I don't think kids would like this phone much, however, it is inexpensive.
The keypad has a nice feel to it, and again, I like the noises it makes when you press buttons. The camera is awkward and I am prone to accidentally take photographs with it when I fat finger. It is supposed to have an audio feature, but when I attempt to access it, I end up taking a photograph.
My biggest complaint is the sound quality. I have a very hard time hearing other people, and they have a hard time hearing me. I have had the phone for about 6 months and it has to go. I make a number of business calls with it, and I am tired of the garbled communication.
Yeah, it is not expensive, but this phone is very limited. I wanted to like this phone, but it is not happening. This might work for kids, but not for heavy adult use, and surely not for the people with the most life experience.
