This phone works great!
I purchased this phone a couple of weeks ago and I really love it. I was looking for a phone with physical buttons and I found it n the Samsung Evergreen. Listed below are all of the pros and cons that I have found with this device.
PROS:
- world phone
- physical buttons
- full physical QWERTY keyboard
- digital camera with zoom
- slider phone
- button to launch a menu to access the most used applications
CONS
- It's a little heavy
Second phone messed up also
Ordered this phone as I liked the features. All is fine with it EXCEPT for the fact that it turns itself off at different times during the day. sometimes while in the middle of writing a text message. Had ATT send me another phone thinking I just had a lemon, but this device seems to have the same problems. Good Idea, but still has some strange bugs in the phone. NOT happy!
Frequent Power Cycles
Same issue as reported by user bethfield1.
My Samsung Evergreen power cycles frequently throughout the day, sometimes while on a call, other times while just sitting on my desk. AT&T Warranty has replaced the phone THREE TIMES. Problem existed with all four phones. I have replaced the battery (even though the battery life indicator shows full charge). I think that this may be an issue with the phone software. However, I have the latest version available A667UCKH1. Samsung will accept phone under warranty (which is longer than that offered by the carrier) and diagnose and repair if you mail it to them.
