Good, solid, basic/Feature phone.
Carrier: Verizon
PRO's:
a. Very easy to operate single-handed.
b. Square shape fits well into shirt pockets.
c. Back has a good grip surface.
d. Has a hole for a lanyard/wristlet.
e. The keyboard has a solid feel to it.
f. Speaker is loud.
g. Display is nice and clear (for basic use anyway).
h. Indicators on the display are large and clear.
i. The Bluetooth connects quickly and easily.
CON's:
j. Speaker is not very clear, can't have it too high (or too much static on the other end), or it will be hard to understand.
k. (Personally), I don't consider the menu structure and supporting mechanics very intuitive. (However, they're not complicated either, so you will get used to them quickly.)
l. The square shape will simply be too weird for some people (too short on the face), and it may be too hard to get used to.
m. The Function key and the Shift key operate in a strange way - you'll make quite a few mistakes in your texting until you get used to it.
GENERAL COMMENTS:
n. The keyboard looks too small at first, but trust me, it's okay. I have big, clumsy, fingertips and I'm able to type without much trouble. (The keys are raised, so as long as you hit the middle of the key, it'll type.)
o. Actually, the square shape is a bit of an illusion. While it is definitely shorter than most phones (when closed), it is only 1/4" wider than most phones.
p. Be wary connecting to "My Verizon" through the phone...you'll end up with occasional ads when you turn on the phone. They're quick to bypass, but still annoying.
q. I use my tablet for pictures, so I haven't tried the camera on this phone yet.
I switched from a smart phone to this one because all of my good stuff was done on my Tablet, and I didn't need the extra cost on my monthly bill. So far, the phone does the job with little hassle. I'm satisfied.
