T-Mobile today indicated via its official Twitter account that it will begin delivering the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich system update to the Samsung Galaxy S II via Kies starting on June 11.

Bad timing?
I have to admit that I'm a little surprised that they would be willing to roll out ICS before the S3 comes out. I don't know that it would hurt sales all that much, but it certainly won't help.
not supplying ICS to the GSII would have been a big mistake. That is a very new phone, and the customers expect updates to it. Not releasing ICS would have brought their device support into question, not something you want to do when you are releasi...

Push? Since when was kies OTA?
The link to T-Mobile says the update is available via KIES, their desktop sync software suite.
OTA = Push = NOT Kies

Nope, T-Mobile is first. Only ICS phones AT&T sells directly now is the HTC Vivid and HTC One X.
