Nuance Communications today announced that its Swype keyboard for Android smartphones is available in the Google Play Store. Before today, a beta version of the keyboard needed to be downloaded directly from Swype's web site. Swype replaces the stock Android keyboard and lets people trace words across the screen rather than type individual letters. The 1.5 release of Swype can be purchased from the Play Store for 99 cents.
