A new ad and teaser web page from Motorola has surfaced promoting the forthcoming Moto X phone, highlighting that it's assembled in the USA. The ad and site also mysteriously call it "The first smartphone that you can design yourself." and "Designed by you."

Awesome or hype?

What if Motorola switched to a format like Dell or HP where you could get on the website and custom build a phone to your liking? I think they would kill the market.

What if Motorola marketed some generic catchall phone, based off of a bunch of meaningless surveys, that tried to do everything but did nothing well, as a phone "Designed by you ?" I think it would flop.
LOL. Well it is Assembled in the USA that would please a lot of customers hahahaha. I havent seen any good Motorola phones since uh........ the Atrix? even that one was glitchy. x.x
