Samsung Unveils Two Sexy Sliders

Samsung unveiled 5 GSM handsets at CeBit this week. Three are unlikely to make it Stateside, but there is a chance two models could show up on American carriers in some form. The models are currently tri-band 900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS (EDGE). Samsung has in the past modified phones with similar specs for release here.
- SGH-D870: A feature-packed, yet ultra-slim slider. Features a 3 megapixel camera, QVGA screen, MicroSD slot, and TV-out. Also includes a media player and Bluetooth with stereo headphone (A2DP) support. All that plus a 80 MB of memory is squeezed into a handset 13mm thick; that's thinner than a RAZR.
- SGH-E900: With this slider, Samsung makes good on its promise to bring out models to take on LG's "chocolate" phone. Features a 2 megapixel camera, QVGA screen, and Bluetooth. The front of the phone features transductive keys for navigation and media playback hidden beneath the surface (like on the chocolate phone or Sony Ericsson W950). Only the keys that control the phone's current mode are lit up and activated.
