Disney Mobile won't be the only MVNO opening stores in the US. Helio has announced it too will open stores in select US cities, beginning with a flagship store in Santa Monica opening this October. Stores in New York, Denver San Diego and Palo Alto will follow in the next few months. Unlike Disney's mall kiosks, Helio will open large stores with a number of hands-on and sales points inside as well as large social lounges and and a technical support area where users can get questions answered or just have their devices "freshened up." In addition to its flagship stores, Helio expects to be selling phones in 3,000 retail locations by the end of the year. The MVNO is already offering service in 2,000 stores nation wide.
