Helio seems pretty legit

I added up the costs of equivalent phones (including new service discounts which Helio doesn't offer), plans with similar minutes, and data plans for Sprint, Verizon, T-mobile, and Cingular and compared them to Helio. Not only did some of the carriers require a PDA to get unlimited data (at least the system online wouldn't let me add it unless I had selected a PDA, it could have been I just wasn't doing it right) but when I added everything up Helio was by far cheaper. In some cases starting service with Helio was more expensive, over the long run for what you got Helio was cheaper. They have good phones and a good base plan and I think they will be around for a while.
I don't know. They are competing in an over-saturated market, and only targeting high-end customers. They aren't very friendly for those who just need phones to answer and hang up. Also, they are so limited in thier phone selection, I just don't see i...
