T-Mobile to Phase Out @Home Service

T-Mobile will stop selling - but continue to support - its landline replacement service that allowed users to connect a home phone to T-Mobile via broadband. The Hotspot@Home wi-fi service will continue to be sold.

This was Tmob's way of trying to make a dent into a dieing market. Vonage is the only real way to go with this, and home phones are falling off the map. Smart decision on their part to discontinue this service. Would have been smarter to never even start this service.
I don't understand why so many of you are panning the t-mobile @ home service.

I have it and like it. It enabled me to call home with free minutes rather than having to call a cell phone for someone at home. Also, it let us continue to have a "home...

OMG No More At Home!!!!!

Yay...Now We Get To Go Back To The Old Call Flow....The Fantastic 4 Has To BE Revamped YAY!!!! This Is A Great Day In T-MOBILE/CP Land!!!!!!!!!
All I know is i will be glad not to have to sell this anymore. It was a very innovative service, it just had more problems than I can count. If a customer wanted to transfer their home phone to this, they better not have DSL. I haven't seen one of ...

Yea @home was a piece of s@#t to sell, Tmos great but CP psf/sp/ftc suck cp should not have this account as they do not deserve it.
