Verizon Wireless Publishes Motorola Droid X Web Site

Verizon Wireless has published a teaser site for the Motorola Droid X. The site mentions that the Droid X has a 4.3-inch display, an HDMI out port, and can record video at 720p. Verizon Wireless is expected to formally announce the Droid X on June 23.

Verizon Wireless has published support documentation outlining the Android 2.3 Gingerbread system update for the Motorola Droid X. Gingerbread brings a wide number of updates and changes to the Droid X, including new user interface colors and schemes, customizable dock icons, better word prediction and dictionary support, more calendar options, numerous updates and fixes for the email application, better low-light camera performance, and improved battery life with Bluetooth.

I don't know where this "bigger than Evo" stuff comes from, I really don't, I read people saying that in the forums over @ BGRs site.

*BOTH* the Evo 4G & Droid X have a 4.3in screen.

I would actually consider that phone if...

a front camera was present. that makes it a deal breaker to me, yes i'm one of those people who would benefit from it because of my family members on skype and fring. too bad no snapdragon processor. im sure whatever they put in there will be good enough to kick butt since first droid got so much love from everyone. 😎
