The Federal Communications Commission today announced a new web site with the goal of helping inform consumers about all issues regarding telecommunications. The site includes information about "bill shock," early termination fees, traveling tips for cell phone users, broadband speed test tools, privacy info, and fact sheets about telecom subjects. The web site will also serve as a vehicle for the FCC to deliver news to consumers about actions in the telecom space, as well as a place for consumers to voice concerns or file complaints. The web site is free to visit and is available immediately.
