Latest SlingPlayer App Update Adds Video-Out

Sling Media has updated its application for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch to version 2.1. Aside from fixing bugs, the new application version introduces support for video out via component cable when streaming in high-quality mode. SlingPlayer Mobile allows iPhone/iPad users to watch content on their home DVRs remotely on their iOS device. A SlingBox hooked up to users' home television system is required. The application costs $29.95.
