Voicemail notification icon issue

The EVO 4G also got the Gingerbread update today as well. Anyone else experiencing the voicemail notification icon that appeared after the update was installed, and now won't go away? I've tried rebooting, turning phone off, removing battery, task killing, and yes....called my voicemail several times to make sure I really didn't have a new voicemail. There doesn't seem to be a way to clear the notification. WTF? 🤨
