Why can basic ideas be locked down with patents?
It seems so wrong that simple ideas that do not require innovation or any real thought are able to be protected. It is very sad. If the air compressor where invented today by apple no gas station could afford one. I understand if they used their soft wear or their technology but some things are to basic and first to use an everyday idea should not make money off anyone else that also comes up with a service based on a simple idea that is not innovative or different in any way.
