Mobile number not recognized

I have the unlocked (CDMA/GSM/GLOBAL) Verizon 3 which I'm using on MetroPCS. Almost everything is working great, able to call, text and data on the phone itself. However, when calling and have to use the keypad for an automated system, it isn't recognized; when opening the option to tether to my laptop, a popup says that the mobile number isn't recognized. The APN is set correctly. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!

Galaxy Gear

Does anyone have or is using Galaxy Gear? What are your thoughts?
To have gear really shows. I use a lot text, emails, calendar, whatsapp and to have notifications sent to the gear simply is superb. Do you really need to reach to your phone to see who called, text, email you? furthermore; Do you really need to reach...

Good for them.

Whats good about this, and not so much its Sprint, but usually if one US carrier gets and update, the others usually follow quickly. I hope it comes to my TMO Note 3 soon.

text message

I switched from a iPhone to the note 3. Now I can't receive text messages from iPhone. Apple no longer has my ID on file. Pretty much tried everything. Anybody have any ideas. Gotten no where with Verizon and Apple
all you need to do is back-up and restore the last Iphone you owned or terminate your itunes account. A quick alternative is to change the email address on your previous itunes account so that your old device or old email doesnt intercept Imessages fr...

International vs. T-Mobile version

Both international version (from Expansys) and T-Mobile USA version will cost me about the same. My carrier is T-Mobile, but I frequently travel to Canada.

Why would I choose one vs. the other?

Camera

Has anyone else found that it is not that easy to get good pictures with this phone? Any suggestions?
I was having some issues as well. I found it a little easier once I set the volume button as a physical camera button. It allows you to hold your hand steadier.

Contact groups?

Can I create fairly large (100+) Contact groups on the Galaxy, and even more important, how do I restore them if lost?

Galaxy Gear

I'm getting the Galaxy gear tomorrow. Just curious if anyone knows how close the phone and watch have to be for them to communicate.

Samsung Gear Help.

I see the option on the Gear for Gallery, but it does not show any items. Does this feature connect to the Gallery on the Note 3 or it is a gallery on the Gear only?
I believe the gear for gallery content is for pictures or videos taken with the camera on the gear. How do you like the Samsung Gear?

Switch from S 4 to Note 3

I am currently using a Galaxy S4 and I am thinking about switching to a Note 3. Does anyone have any thoughts?
I wouldn't recommend it, at least not yet.

Yes, the Note 3 has a larger screen and improved this and that, but overall, even do it's different from the S4 in some ways, on others, well, it isn't that much. At least not worth switching/paying for.

While I would not switch from the S4 to the Note 3, unless you need the updated capability (screen size, hardware, S Pen, etc), I would like to add a thought to the "wait and see" approach.

The idea that if you wait something better will come along...

Status Bar Icon

Does anyone know what the icon in the status bar that loons like an "N" means? When I unlock my phone, it shows up between the Bluetooth icon and the wireless icon. Anyone find a list of what the icons mean?
It's NFC.
