Mobile number not recognized
I have the unlocked (CDMA/GSM/GLOBAL) Verizon 3 which I'm using on MetroPCS. Almost everything is working great, able to call, text and data on the phone itself. However, when calling and have to use the keypad for an automated system, it isn't recognized; when opening the option to tether to my laptop, a popup says that the mobile number isn't recognized. The APN is set correctly. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!

Good for them.
Whats good about this, and not so much its Sprint, but usually if one US carrier gets and update, the others usually follow quickly. I hope it comes to my TMO Note 3 soon.
text message
I switched from a iPhone to the note 3. Now I can't receive text messages from iPhone. Apple no longer has my ID on file. Pretty much tried everything. Anybody have any ideas. Gotten no where with Verizon and Apple

International vs. T-Mobile version
Both international version (from Expansys) and T-Mobile USA version will cost me about the same. My carrier is T-Mobile, but I frequently travel to Canada.
Why would I choose one vs. the other?
MESSAGING

Has anyone else found that it is not that easy to get good pictures with this phone? Any suggestions?

Contact groups?
Can I create fairly large (100+) Contact groups on the Galaxy, and even more important, how do I restore them if lost?
Galaxy Gear
I'm getting the Galaxy gear tomorrow. Just curious if anyone knows how close the phone and watch have to be for them to communicate.

Samsung Gear Help.
I see the option on the Gear for Gallery, but it does not show any items. Does this feature connect to the Gallery on the Note 3 or it is a gallery on the Gear only?

Status Bar Icon
Does anyone know what the icon in the status bar that loons like an "N" means? When I unlock my phone, it shows up between the Bluetooth icon and the wireless icon. Anyone find a list of what the icons mean?

The screen is lousy
Compared to the Note 2, it's better, but.... barely. The pentile subpixel arrangement means it's not a true 1080p display, and certain colors look particularly pockmarked (especially red.)
The worst part about Samsung AMOLED displays is the ghosting that appears after a month of use. Your display just looks constantly dirty as time wears on.

Slower data speeds on Note 3?
I've noticed my Note 3 has much slower data speeds in the same exact areas, versus my Motorola phones I've used. My various Moto phones could peak 60 Mbps quite consistently, but I'm lucky to hit 30 Mbps on my Note 3. Either way, both are MASSIVE overkill's for a smartphone, but I want to know if this is a carrier setting with the new Samsung phones, or if it's a specific setting or channel my Note 3 is defaulting to.
