I would think Cingular would be first out of the gate with a US compatible model. Now the question is what will hit the US carriers first---an EVDO 8700 on Verizon, an EDGE 7130 on Cingular, or this hot number?
The MDA will be tough competition.
I agree, I am very excited to see this piece of tech on Cingular/T-Mobile. This is what BB needed to become a the best smart phone on the market, no maybe Wi-Fi!
3rd 3g blackberry....
When it was launched the Verizon BB 7250 had EVDO built in, but not enabled (mostly so you couldn't tether it to your PC as a modem. Recently the new software version (version 4 i believe) enables the EVDO. So technically there are currently 2 3G blackberries (both with Verizon I might add), so this would be, technically, the third.
Good call, urnamehere. I was thinking the same thing. Verizon supposedly enabled EVDO for the 7250 some time back. In fact, I think the headline is just incorrect. The 7250 has a "full QWERTY keyboard" and has been around for a year. Besides, EVD...
