Q Update Enables DUN, Push Email

Does that mean that if I want to add the unlimited data plan with the modem usage to my current line, I will have to pay $45 + $15??!!? I sure hope not because I want to get the Q. I had the treo 700W and could not get a strong signal at my house, maybe with the Q I will be able to since my unbranded V3C has a full signal...

yes you will have to have the data unlimited plan and the 15 dollar teathering feature to use as a modem
