great idea for an affordable qwerty phone but is it just me or is the screen off center with the rest of the phone?
It is. Most LCD modules have one edge that sticks out more, where the connector attaches. Typically it's on a smaller end. In the more-common portrait orientation, that's not a problem. In landscape orientation, it can be an issue.

Blitz - Kewl phone - Sound/Speakerphone quality SUX
My wife bought this phone.
We had to take the first one back because it kept rebooting..
But the Speakerphone and sound quality is terrible..
Both phones were crap.
I realize this is being pushed as a text msging phone. But you would think sound quality would be pretty good.
Anyone else have any issues with the sound quality.

No problems - sound is fine and speakerphone is great !
None at all. I think it's great also. As with most phones I've owned, the sound can be tinny if turned up too high. I keep it at medium and I find it works perfectly. I have no trouble with my speaker phone, either.

Not really that ugly
Wow, didn't imagine there would be so much hatred for this phone on here, lol. Its really not as ugly as it looks on phonescoop, I just played with one in the verizon store and I kind of like it, it does everything I expect a phone to do for me, has an easy interface, micro sd card slot, bluetooth(so I don't have to talk into it, it is kinda bulky). I got on here to see if anyone knew anything about battery life, reception, but I guess its too new for a good review yet, anybody help me out here??
I don't know why people hate it. I love it.
1. Interface is great.
2. Doesn't look as bad as the photos here. It's very compact and you can talk with it open or closed.
3. Battery life is fantastic (no EVDO... that may be a plus or minus for you......

if you look in the bottom left of the pics taken of it you can see the safari logo. i KNOW apple didn't let them put safari on this phone, so why is that there, was it photoshopped in there or does the fone actually have that logo

man, this phone was a metaphor, id throw it right in the toilet. this is by far the saddest excuse for a phone for Verizon. 1.2 megapixel camera!? 1.2??? arent we getting jipped outta an extra .1 megapixels? i mean, im not that photo articulate but man, it just seems like all phones nowadays have the same crap, just the outside looks differnt.
