I work at Costco, and we sell this phone too...
We were very confused, cause there was no info here at phonescoop, and even the t-mobile website said nothing about it. We have already recieved it and are selling it.
We were informed we are a test market, but we are not in New York, but rather in Denver. Sounds like maybe there are a few markets that will have 3G soon...

I have to disagree with some of your comments about T-mobile USA. Earlier I did mention that if T-mobile were not going to be expanding in coverage and capacity wise and spectrum, they would be in a world of trouble. Obviously, with the massive purchase during the AWS spectrum, increasing coverage with cell towers, roll out with 3G shortly, and purchase of Suncom, allows them to continue to be there competing in the marketplace. For a company like T-mobile that has struggled with its growth because of a lack of spectrum and coverage has been doing a great job over the years. Their sidekick and Blackberry type devices are growing their data ARPU significantly and for only their 2.5G that ...

The bottom line is that they are behind in coverage, way behind in getting new phones and really really behind in advanced 3G network.
I don't get it why you guys want to stick together instead of getting more bars in more places.
They are definately still playing catch up, but they are still young compared to the other 3 major carriers.
