Review: Samsung Impression

i was texting this morning and all of a sudden all my received massages were tiny! the font that is. when im typing the font size is normal, but when i read a received message its so small i have to squint to read it. i couldnt get my manual disk to work and couldnt find anything in my phone settings. . . anyone else have the answer?? thanks. . . 🙂

I'm getting the Samsung Impression in a couple of days and I was wondering if the text messages are like an AIM chat? Thanks.

I am considering the Samsung Impression and I have seen quite a few reviews stating that the phone freezes up during texting. Have any of you encountered this?

I was just wondering if you can listen to the radio on the Samsung Impression. It doesn't matter if its a widget or it comes on the phone or anything like that, i just would like to know if there is any way i could listen to it on the phone 🙂

Well, every time I send a certain amount of text messages, they stop sending until I restart the phone. I have to do this about 4 times a day! This is getting very annoying and the phone is great except for this one little issue. Would anybody know a solution to this problem? Thanks.

I'm trying to find out if the browser will load full html pages, not just wap ! Phone in store uses wap only. Has anyone changed the browser preferences?

When my phone automatically updated the time when Daylight Savings went into effect, it also changed all of my calendar entries by 1 hour. Anyone else have that problem?

Hate the calender on here, but is there anyway to sync it with the calender on your computer?

Is there a way to thread text messages? It seems like such a nice phone would be capable of a simple feature like that. Especially since the Xenon can do it.

Also, how do I get picture texts to show up automatically without having to retrieve them?

Just got my impression and I want to add ringtomes and wallpapers. I've tried emailing a SMS from my computer; the phone receives the sms, but no attachment shows up. I've also tried downloading the attachment from mobile email (yahoo); this time I can see the attachment in the message on the phone, but can't find the download attachment option..... HELP!@!!!!!

BTW, I do not have a micro SD in uit yet... COuld that be the problem?

Hey! As you can tell from my user name...I can never decide what to do! LOL I currently have the RAZR V3xx. I am eligible for an upgrade, even though I have been quite satisfied with the phone I have! I need help and advice when it comes to choosing between the Impression and the Jack. I think I need a PDA for what I want to do online and such, but have gotten different stories on what phone does what. Here is what I want more than anything... I want to be able to view a and any web page on my phone as you would see/access it on a computer. Some have told me that the Impression will only give me the mobile versions, others have told me that it will give me the full. Been told that the Jack will give me full but not near as detailed as say th...

How do i get my "signature" after every text? does this phone offer it?

I am about to get a new phone and an AT&T wireless account. I notice that the LG Xenon and the Samsung Impression appear very similar, and in fact, on the AT&T site, compare as identical. The Impression is a little more expensive, but if it is a better phone it would be worth the difference. Does anyone have any feedback on comparing these two phones? I was also looking at the Pantech Matrix, which is not touch screen but has a double slide and is less expensive. Anyone have any info on comparing that to the to touchscreen phones?

Does the alarm still ring when it is on vibrate or does it only vibrate?

also does the alarm still go off when the phone is turned off?

Does the phone ring and vibrate at the same time or just ring then vibrate?

Will the V-Moda Vibes Duo work with the phone and the samsung jack to 3.5mm adapter?

The phone comes with software to manage video, pictures and music.

However, nothing to manage contacts and such. Anyone have any suggestions...is there freeware or other software someone suggests?

can i change to color look out on the impression to look more like the eternity. i dont like the black back ground when typing.
