Motorola Could Get Back Into the Windows Mobile Game

The problem is that Motorola's recent blip came from extensive marketing support from Verizon pitching Android as a platform, which is handicapped at the moment by the Nexus One (which also ruined the Droid's title as Android poster child.)
That leaves Motorola with two things as their competitive advantage- excellent hardware design (what they used to be known for) , and BLUR. WinMo won't allow for the later, and Motorola's smartphones aren't their proudest efforts.
Look no farther than how Palm was doing before WebOS.

For what reason do you think Blur can't be put on a WinMo smartphone? Blur is just Moto's idea of HTC's Sense UI, right?

heheh changed their tune...
after seeing winphone 7 roll out, can't blame them. try as hard as i can, i just can't get in to android, just too clunky and inconsistant for me. winphone 7 looks hawt.
They didn't change their tune. When they stopped using windows mobile they said that they couldn't continue to work with the current version of windows mobile but did make it seem that they would be open to work with future versions of windows.
