100 kbs sending limit?
Is the limit on video/picture sending only 100kbs? I can't seem to send anything over 100 kbs and thats really bothersome as a large picture of decent quality is usually over 100 and video is like 4sec smallest resolution to stay below 100kbs.
If it's possible to send more then a 100kbs size picture or video please let me know.

memory card and headphone jack questions
Does anyone know if the i870 has a limit on the capacity of the MicroSD card? For example, if I were to buy a 2GB card, would the i870 accept it?
Also, I know the i870 has a 2.5mm headphone jack, instead of the standard 3.5mm. Adapters are made which convert these sizes. Would such an adapter work with the i870? I don't see why not, but you never know.
The jack is meant for a wired headset which would include a microphone. Because of this an adapter would only play music out one ear.
There is an adapter I bought at Target for $14
that is a microphone/headphone adapter that sends the signal to bo...

turning camera sound off
is there a way? its so loud and i cant even turn the vol down. thanks
The volume of the camera shutter sound only goes down as you turn your DC/GC speaker volume down. Kinda stupid, I know.

Someone Help (Frustrated)
Well I know how your suppose to go ahead and find the audio file, problem is, I can't find it anywhere on the program, what's going on? âšī¸ Could someone give me a link to a tut, or break it down real simple. I don't even know which one I'm suppose to go into. Also when I go to the 'Memory Card' part in Settings > Advanced it doesn't have Remove Memory Card anymore, it just has Store Media and Help, why is that, and is it normal? I dunno, this is my first phone. đ
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

bluetooth headset and DC??
i have the hs859 headset. im wondering if anyone knows a way to DC someone directly from the headset??
i did a voice dial to a DC #, and it highlights the number, but wont actually make the call.
Apparently, you still need to use the PTT button when using the DC function.

Can't get mp3s to play and yes I did a search and try everything offered.
Umm.. I having the same problems. I formatted my card, made sure the title was less than 32 letters. The files read mp3 on my laptop and when the card is in my computer it shows up but then put in my phone and open audio program it says no audio found.
When I convert them to WAV files I can find them on the card and play but if I try to get the audio player to find them it comes up empty handed. Please help.
Did you buy these MP3s or make them? Could be you're trying to copy WDRM-protected media and it doesn't like it because it can't see the license file.
If you made it yourself, what codec did you use? Lame? Fraunhofer? You might be using a forma...

I've read that the bitrate of an MP3 file must be 192 or less. Check that.....maybe that's your problem.

Max Memory
I'm close to forking out the money for this phone except for the memory... The forums asked the same question but no one answered:
is (the rumored) 512mb the biggest card you can put on it?
anyone tried a gig yet?
-Frosty
The 512mb is the largest card available for the handset. This is due to the handset being designed for the micro rather than the mini.

mp3 to ring tone
I've already downloaded some mp3's onto the phone. I can't choose them as a ringtone though. I've even downloaded some mp3 ringtones and still can't use them as a ring tone. Does anyone know what I have to do to make these a ringtone. Do I have to convert them into something else? THanks
Go to: www.geocities.com/nextelringtoneman
There's an amazing program you have to download that converts MP3 ringtone to WAV ringtones. I used it and i now have 28 ringtones!
Do I have to use it, or is there another program? I tried the links provided but I cant find it, they no longer work.
Someone, please help!
Thanks
