Im very shocked by this the goverment should have no right to interfere with something thats not pretaining to the country. Whether democrat or republican this is a load of garbage and should not be passed. You want a radio in your phone buy the chocolate touch if not buy an android and get pandora quit forcing pointless crap on us and fix the damn economy.

I would use it if it was there..Many times I've streamed local stations through radio time while waiting somewhere. With the carriers moving away from unlimited data this would solve a problem..
RE FM RADION MANDATE
The idea of cell phones with FM radios is ridiculous. Phones are already complicated enough. I'm a senior and as far as I'm concerned the simpler the better. This is why I got an easy to use phone like the Tracfone senior value phone. It's got everything I need. Nothing more. And the service is CHEAP.
It would not make it more complicated and you would not have to use it. Many free or cheep phones already have FM, it's in the menu..
