Samsung T509 Video Tour

I have a t509 and i cracked the screen so i can't read anything. I am trying to copy my phonebook to the simcard, but without being able to read the screen, i'm kinda screwed. Samsung sells a cable for $80.00, but i was wondering if any of you other t509 users could help me out and give me a walk through of how to do it. What buttons to press, how many times to scroll down, etc. I won't be able to see anything, but i'll take any help i can get. Thanks a lot.

Hey. I cannot figure out how to get pictures in "My Downloads" to send to "My Album" so I can get them on the web. There is no option to send to "My Album". Does anyone have any ideas?

My phone wont boot up past the welcome screen but it works fine with an AT&T SIM card.

The battery stopped holding a charge so I bought one for $8 on ebay and when I went to put it in it wouldn't boot past the opening screen.

The old battery or being plugged in didn't fix anything. I also tried the reset all settings to fix it to no avail.

Any idea on things to try? Is there a hard reset or something? Or anyone know of a way to transfer phone numbers?

I HAVE A T509 UNLOCKED FROM TMOBILE BUT I AM USING IT WITH CINGULAR.I CANT GET IT TO SEND PIC MESSEGES OR GO ONLINE IN THE CINGULAR NETWORK.THERE IS NO OPTION IN THE MENU TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS EITHER.MAY BE THERE IS A HIDDEN MENU?IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM PLEASE HELP ME OUT!THANKS!

I really want to have a nice camera phone (really big on that, want good quailty, send-to-my-friends type thing), but I like flip phone design. I love to customize the heck out of things, and I love to do things like set new backrounds and personalize ringtones for each contact. Brigth screens are nice, video is great, and I want a phone where I can store more pictures on the phone (like 20-25-ish, hopefully). Which phone is better for me?

Can I use SGH-T509 in 900/1900 bandwith? Pls reply me asap.

I need to know do you have to download your desired game off of T-Mobile's T-ZONE service, or if you have it already downloaded it onto your PC, can you simply trnasfer it via the BlueTooth connection?

Also what is a cool web site for cell-phone games? I am looking for ZUMA and METAL SLUG games.

Anybody know of a good belt-mounted case for the Samsung t509? I'd like to get one that holds the phone horizontally instead of vertically.

There are lots of them on various vendors' websites. But it's hard to tell which will hold it more securely, which are easy or hard to put it into, etc., without actually trying them. I don't want to buy five cases just to find one that's right.

If I can find a softer calfskin type or something like that, that would be great. Access to the buttons, screen etc. isn't necessary, so I don't care if the case provides access or not.

Anybody know of a case like that? What would you recommend?

My Samsung t509 mostly works well, but it occasionally seems to lock up, where the display stops updating, the keyboard doesn't respond, etc. It's not a dead battery. Once I get it to reboot (that can be difficult), it works well, and runs for days without recharging.

It seems to happen more often if I try to use it WHILE I'm charging the battery with the plug-in charger that came with it. Could the charger have a problem? But it also occasionally hapens when it's not plugged in to the charger.

Sometimes it recovers if I turn it off for a long time (several hours). Other times even that doesn't help - I have to open the back and take out the battery for a few minutes. That always brings it back to life. But what a pain.

I bought a T-Mobile Samsung t509 on Ebay, took it to a T-Mobile store where the activated it with a new SIM card (I had lost my old Nokia phone ☹️ )

Seems to work quite well. But every day at 2:45PM, it starts buzzing, and announces that there's an alarm set for that time. I press OK and it goes away. But then the next day it happens again. Apparently this was set by the previous owner, and I don't know how to get rid of it.

I can't find any section of the manual about these alarms, nor can I find any menu on the phone for alarms.

Anyone know how to get rid of an alarm like this?

I recently bought this phone coming off of the t809. I can't figure out how to convert the music files like i do on the t809 to be able to play them as ringtones...any ideas?
