A nice phone for the end of 2010
The screen may be physically large and very nice, and the phone is dual-core, but the screen resolution is now approaching obsolescence. qHD displays are on the high-end phones now, and 720p displays will be out by the end of this year, making this one especially low-res by comparison. Higher resolution make text VERY crispy. Depending on what you're doing with your phone, you may prefer the better quality of the rest of the display, but for me, I'd rather have the much better text of a higher-res display.
I have the Samsung Droid Charge, with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, and it is very, very bright, crisp, and sharp.
I was a little disappointed to see that they stayed with the 480x800 display as well. It seems a little strange that everything else on the phone would be top of the line, but the resolution would be on par with a phone they released last year. I kn...
