6133 Ringtones
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could possibly list out all of the ringtones that the 6133 comes with from the factory, I messed up my phone and I'm trying to find a certain one, but I cant remember the name of it but will recognize it as soon as i see it.

Firmware?
I noticed that the firmware on my 6133 is out of date -- they're telling me v0.56 is available, and I'm currently running v0.53.
But I also noticed that I could have my phone flashed and unlocked at the same time over at Evan's place.
The firmware he's offering is v6.10 -- which seems likely to be fundamentally different than the v0.xx series.
So how do I know what is in what? Is there a description somewhere of the variations? Something like a software packages "What's in this release" Readme?
Nokia's support wiki forum doesn't seem to help, although it does state that the latest firmware for the 6133 is actually v5.60, which is maybe the same think as v0.56? So where does v6.10 come from? The only phones I saw with that number ...

Hi,
You probably have 5.03, not .53. I would send it out to get unlocked, it's a great phone.
Flashing to the newest unbranded firmware (6.10) is a *MUST* for a 6133. The T-Mobile branded firmware cripples this great phone way too much. Enough to mention the horrible battery life with the T-Mo firmware. Not sure what they did with this phone, ...

Memory Card
Had somebody tried used a memory card with more capacity than a 2 GB???? and what happened.
I attempted to upgrade to a 4 gig memory card. It doesn't recognize it. After buying that 4 gig I saw the specs said a 2 gig is the most it would take. I was disappointed!

JuiceCaster for Nokia 6126?
Does anyone know whether JuiceCaster is compatible with the Nokia 6126 and if it is, any thoughts on the unlimited SMS they are offering?
In short, is it worth downloading JuiceCaster with the 6126?
Thanks

HELP - How you do you add your own mp3 Ring tone
I've tryed other forums, and they were not able to help. Maybe someone here can help me.
I have just purchased a Nokia 6126 for the Fido Network in Vancouver BC Canada. I've tryed other website ring tone uploaders like funformobile.com.
And it won't let me set it as a ring tone. I can download it no problem but It won't let me set it as my tone. So I am very lost. Any help would be awesome.
Thank you for your time.
Goose.
you go to the main menu, settings, set profile, click any of them then change it in there.

Nokia 6126 callback doesn't work?
I have a Nokia 6126 not made anymore, and I am trying to set a mp3 music file in my phone as the callback. I click the tone,"use tone" then "set as callback tone" then i tried calling my phone on other various phones and every time its just common ringing no callback âšī¸ . Is it just the phone, the format of the file? or do i have to actually buy the callback and pay monthly fees đĸ

Why is MMS limited to 640x480 pictures?
Does anyone know why is this limitation and if there is a way to get around it? I'm using fw 6.10 (6133). No point of taking 1280x1024 pictures if they get compressed to 640x480 đĄ

6133 or 6263 Speaker phone
I have the 6103 and want to upgrade to the Nokia 6133.
Does anyone know if the 6133 flip lid can be closed while using the speakerphone, or does it hang up on the call when closed? The 6103 I have allows one to talk on the speaker phone while it is closed.
The speakerphone continues working.
I just tested it on my 6133 (T-Mobile, original software); called a number I knew was a recording, put it on speakerphone, close the flip, and kept hearing the announcement.
It's a good phone, but not perfect....

Music player
For some reason, the music player app only recognizes songs that I place in the music files folder on the phone, and not songs that I have on my memory card. This really sucks since the phone has very little memory, any suggestions? thx in advance đ
I had this problem at first as well. You must go into your music player. Hit options and go to play options. then under music source you open your memory card and select the folder from where you want it to read. The only problem is, when I try to op...

Sure...
Do you wanna use either of those methods... or do you have access to pc suite?
PS. I remember how to get to my phonebook. From there I think its left soft key to get to options. I just need to know how many times i click down, the what to press to copy.

Fast forward/rewind movies?
Sometime ago I put a 3GP movie on my phone just to see what it would look like, and I was impressed in the same way that a dancing bear impresses (you know this one, don't you?): it isn't so much that he dances well, but that he dances at all.
So I could watch a movie. But there was no way of fast forwarding, or pausing while doing something else, or returning to where I'd stopped watching previously.
So I keep Pixar's "Red's Dream" on my phone just to show people how nice it looks at 320x240.
But I just spotted the "FF/Rew Interval" setting in the Media Player and that got me wondering whether I'd missed something.
If that setting is only for audio files, then why isn't it under the Music Player instead? And if it's for videos, ...

How do you........
Bluetooth pictures from another phone to this one?!? Is it even possible??? I was trying to bluetooth pictures from my Motorola RAZR to this phone and it kept saying that the "operation failed." Is anyone else having this problem?? PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK ON THIS!! Thanks đ đ đ
OK, feedback: I've never had problems sending pictures, however I'm usually sending them from my phone to my Macintosh (which works fine) or PC (ditto).
The only way I've moved pictures in the other direction (TO the phone) is probably using the bl...

How to use ALARM
How do you turn up the volume on the alarm???
Thanks for all the help..
ben570 đ
I just tried playing with mine, and it appears you can't... seems strange, but the alarm came on at about the same volume regardless of my phone's volume or my ringer tone volume.
I've always been pleased by the way it ramps up in volume, and it's ...

PC Suite and the 6133 model???
I went to the Nokia site to download the PC Suite software and where it had the list of compatible phones, it had the 6126 and 6131 listed but not the 6133. Will it still work with the 6133 since it's almost identical to the other two? Or will I just have to download the drivers for the cable and do it that way? I just received this phone today so I'm a noob when it comes to this phone right now but I have to say that I love it so far! Please let me know about the PC Suite whoever has any info concerning that. Thanks!
Hey there... if you go to the european nokia site if you want the 6133 version, however the 6131 will work just fine.

6126 Stereo Bluetooth Headset
I just got a LG HBS-200 stereo headset for my 6126. It connects fine, but when using the music player the audio seems to be coming through as low quality mono rather than the high quality stereo that would be indicated by the phone's support of the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). Has anyone else encountered this problem and is there a way to fix it?
Thanks
I've not had any problem with mine yet. I just got a Plantronics Pulsar 260. It works really good with my 6131.
Is there a firmware update available for the 6126? I did an update on mine when I got it, and A2DP is one of the things that was not s...

Is anyone using .m3u playlists?
I can't get this to work. The .m3u file is in the same folder as the mp3's. It works that way on my Garmin, but not on the phone.
Any Ideas?

Data capabilities
Can you hook this phone up to your laptop to use as a modem? I know that the information on the phone here on phonescoop says it is not "Data Capable", but I wanted to confirm with someone who has the phone. Are you able to use it as a modem?
That's the only real feature that I see missing from this phone. I appreciate any info you can provide.
There is a reference in the phone settings to a USB connection but I don't have a cable that would work and I have not tried to test using bluetooth.
I would not get my hopes up too much but if I get some time I will try to test.
webdr
Yeah you can if you use infrared... you can also use the USB adapter.

Microphone
Hey does anyone know where the microphone on this phone is located???? Thanks!
I think it is hidden "under" the bottom row of keys. I came to this conclusion by blowing on various parts of the phone while listening through a different phone. The wind noise was most pronounced when blowing at the bottom row of buttons. It seem...
