What Operating System?

any idea what OS this might use?

I don't think this is a smartphone. I think it just has a standard Samsung phone OS (proprietary). If it had a major smartphone OS, I imagine that would have been part of the announcement.

doesnt have an os. its like regular samsung phones with grid menu. the phones actually pretty fat. haha

With CDMA and a SPH model number - Sprint? someday?

No. Samsung has a whole separate lineup of CDMA phones just for Korea, and they all have "SCH" or "SPH" model numbers. For example:
