YOU CAN NOT AUTOMATICLY UPDATE YOUR SPRINT PHONE WITH A "PRL UPDATE" THROUGH *2 UNLESS YOUR PHONE IS SHOWING THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT YOUR PHONE IS READY FOR ONE. ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A PRL UPDATE MUST GO INTO A CORPATE STORE TO GET A PRL UPDATE!!!!!!

yes they could go into a sprint store and have there phone updated with a prl update or they could call into customer care and have them tag the phone for an OTA prl update. unless they have a new phone like the lg 325 cin that case they can simply go into the settings of there phone and have the phone update it it's self. but where is this all comeing from? 😕

this is a reply from another message I sent and you replied to. The customer service agent stated that I can't get one over the phone because my phone was not tagged for one. But if I wanted a new PRL update then I would have to go into a coprate store with "handset Service" to update my PRL. He stated that he could not tag my phone from there. Also, sprint just put up 6 new towers in my area and I needed to get them plugged in. 😳

the phone will pick your tower up just because it is there. think about it do you need to take your fm radio updated every time there is a new radio station? the new towers, your phone is already useing them with out the prl.
about the prl the rep you were talking to obviously did not know wha the was talking about because he could have tagged your phone for a prl update. the best thing to do is just call back in and have a rep tag your phone for a prl update. once that is done the next time you call into customer care your phone will be updated
