Does anyone know why in different states there are different plans? For example I go to school in PA, and the plans there are 10.00 a month for only 100 roaming mins. Where in NJ and online you pay 5.00 a month to be able to use half of your mins for roaming. Then, another plan had roaming included in the plan for unlimited. Can anyone one explain?

In some smaller communities, Sprint service is often provided by an affiliated company. This company was licensed by Sprint to sell Sprint branded service. In exchange for this, this company gets access to newer technology, the nationwide network, billing support, and product placement at Radio Shack.

It sounds as if you are in an affiliate market. What part of PA? My guess is that it is either US Unwired or Horizon PCS - but could be mistaken. Several of the affiliate markets chose the 100 mins of roaming for $10 while Sprint corporate went with the $5. I work for an affiliate who has both options depending on your CSA - where your number is based out of. I don't work on the sales side any longer but I believe that Sprint has plans that allow you to use all of your minutes for roaming but they don't include very many minutes from what I understand. Hope this helps.
